Assalamualaikum warrahmatullahi wabbarakatuh
So, basically you pay for a boxes (lets say its worth 10$) you can get item A, B, or C. item A is less than 10$ and is not that rare, item B is about 10$ and its a bit rarer than a, and item C worths more than 10$ and is the rarest. Its on a game (steam) so you can sell/buy it. And theres a few people that like the items we dont like (for ex: items a). But, people who sells them got the item the exact same way like me and everyone else who got it (by unboxing a case), and the people who sells it, sells it at cheap prices because its not that rare . (Also, you can set the prices really high, but dont expect it sells because everyone else sells it cheaper). And item c sells the most expensive because its rare. (same way by unboxing a boxes) (P.S: this is Counter Strike Global Offensive weapon cases) Hope i got the answer Syukron Edited by Ar Razy - 14 May 2015 at 4:05am |

When it comes to cases like these in games, it can be a bit of a gray area. Some might consider it a form of gambling because you're essentially paying for a chance to get a valuable item, and the outcome is uncertain. Others view it more as a digital collectible or trading system.
