I noticed from what i have experianced that some muslim youths get angry when they hear a comment they feel is made against islam, the prophet or their religious doctrines and methodologies. And some like we saw in The Netherlands even go as far as to act upon such emotions and actually kill the one who makes comments they feel are made against them, their group or islaam. How is it possible when the emotion should be being sad and grieved? how many times do we read in the koran the words "do not be worried about that which they say, we know what they reveal and keep hidden" or when we read the words "do not be sad and in grief over what they say..."

What these kind of people do is not even get sad or worried but they make the leap right into being angry, because they obviously feel threatened in something. This was not the way of the prophet obviously because he got grieved and sad and worried over their sayings but then Allah comforted him and reminded him that He knows what they reveal and what they conceal. And that The whole affair is to Allah.

May Allah heal the youths with the medicine of the words of Allah, the koran without any interference from others.

Let me remind you why one gets grieved and worried over other people their words, it is because he cares for their well being and not because he feels that his life is threatened or his property. So if one does not care about those who are ignorant and only sees them as a threat to their lives and their property such a person is not upon the way of the prophet. And this is reason to fear Allah and work on finding a way to Him. Being truthful is a must in my view, and working to do a mending work is a must also. And a mending work means a work that is good ofcourse, promoting peace between people who are different and do not fully understand eachother and are at war or fight is a mending work. Feeding the poor is a mending work. To kill those who are different is not, neither is conquest of land while using the faith as a front for doing so, because the faith is not under threat, but people who do kill others who are different and wish to conquer land are. Why they do this? As for their leaders it is simple, they wish to secure their position of power and widen their area of control. As for the cannon fodder, they feel threatened and their leaders have worked further on their misplaced fears by making them accept methodologies and doctrines which justify their agression and violence against those they feel threatened by, they have put ideas and conspiracy theories in their head and all of this is possible because their followers do not fear Allah alone, but fear others.

salam,

Quran, 3:186 " You shall certainly be tried respecting your wealth and your souls, and you shall certainly hear from those who have been given the Book before you and from those who are polytheists much annoying talk; and if you are patient and guard (against evil), surely this is one of the affairs (which should be) determined upon."

i'm sad because i'm a daif human, it's like how u ask someone who was bleeding, "hey don't feel pain." i just do, i can't help it. it hurts my heart when they spoke bad about Islam, birthing discrimination & stigma. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has sad moments too, if not why did Allah reminded him in the Quran? still ur right, Allah did told us not to stay in that sadness. it's like a positive confirmation, after a negative event. many times Allah reminded him, so i assumingly think the Prophet must have been sad many times, but was reminded by Allah to be positive again. when we're happy we're close to Allah, when we're sad we want to be even closer, & may Allah expiates our sins, that is actually alhamdulilah.

Quran,12.84
-86 And he turned away from them and said: Alas, my grief for Joseph! And his eyes were whitened with the sorrow that he was suppressing.
They said: By Allah, thou wilt never cease remembering Joseph till thy health is ruined or thou art of those who perish! He said: I expose my distress and anguish only unto Allah, and I know from Allah that which ye know not.

Quran,10.065 And let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! power belongeth wholly to Allah. He is the Hearer, the Knower.

All these bad words spoken by them are because they feel that they are threatened by people who do not believe in freedom of speech for instance. Understand that we all are human beings, and it is impossible for someone who fears others then Allah to be just. So a muslim should be a source of safety and security wherever he is and not be a cause of injustice. Firmly standing for justice even against himself, what he sees as his people, and others.

If you do not understand why fearing others then Allah makes one unjust Let me explain

Let us take Saddam, or the leader of North Korea as an example, he fears losing power so what he did is set up an esteblishment which upholds his own book and  this esteblishment is made up of people who are loyal to him, he gives them money and priviledges and they on their turn are the generals and officers in his army. These generals and officers cast fear into the ranks of their soldiers and they make sure no uprising or coupe will happen. So they opress the people of North Korea for the sake of the leader and his esteblishment. See this kind of leader does not fear Allah to whom ALL power belongs but he fears others and kills those who he sees as a threat to his power. Had he feared Allah he would not have opressed people to keep power because he would know that he would be held to account for every choice and action made in this life. And he would not have sought after power in the first place had he understood that all power belongs to Allah, His messenger and the faithful.(Then, now and in the future) So stand for justice and fear none but Allah so that you may prosper.

And all praise is to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

There are simply some people who are impossible to reason with, and who are so filled with hostility that any communication with them leads to frustration and anger. The best solution is to ignore such people and focus our efforts on the sincere seekers of truth Insha'Allah.

I have wasted so much time arguing with people who were not interesting in genuine dialogue. There are many such people at this forum, and even more at others. The only positive thing I can add is that when I was a young man, many years ago, I was similarly belligerent and irrational; only now that I am old and my health is beginning to fail do I see how much time I wasted. perhaps with maturity these people who are following such a destructive path now will see the error of their ways sooner than I did.

We have so many friends among the true worshipers of Allah, no matter what religion they follow, as well as our countless brothers and sisters, with whom we can have constructive and rewarding dialogues. Why waste time with those whose motivations are less than sincere and honorable?

Akhi firewall, excellent choices of ayaat.

I agree with you Shamil, i can relate to you when you say you were belligerent and irrational in the past, words of reason did not make sense to me except that i disregarded them on the basis of some feeling of rejection, and i never really thought about why i rejected the words of reason, i just did and there where enough other words which i could hold on to which i found security in because of the feeling of not being alone in those thoughts. I only discovered the reason when i got in such a conflict with myself and the world around me that i had no other choice but to turn to Allah and His words in arabic and searched for a way of peace with Him. I found His signs both in His creation and signs in His words. And yes we do have friends who are His also.

"Akhi firewall, excellent choices of ayaat."

Indeed, and peace to you too.

Do not turn to your friends, but turn to Allah alone and you will discover. And fear Him if you can not be grateful, because ungratefulness is an english word which in arabic means kufr.

Allah who created you in the safety of your mother's womb and By His power and wisdom He formed you and then brought you into this world.

This world works in terms of action reaction and He is The Powerful over both.

He took care of you and norished you through your mother and your father.

Emotions are also created by Him.

All with a purpose that is for Him.

He is The First and The Last so the whole situation is from Him and to Him.

No protector or helper except Him.
