	Asalam Aalaikum, What is Islam? Islam as most people think is a religion but it is more than a religion,it is a deen(a way of life). Islam means "peace" and the alternate meaning of Islam is "to submit once will to the will of Allah(swt)" .Islamic Teachings are based on Qur'an and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and anything that is beyond the teachings of Qur'an and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) is not Islam. Qur'an is the primary source of Islam and it is a source of guidance for the entire mankind. Qur'an is a Holy Book revealed by Allah(God) to Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) the final and last Messenger of Allah(swt). Sunnah refers to the actions and deeds of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and every muslim has to follow it. Any muslim who adheres and follows the teachings of Qur'an and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) will be in benefit not only in this world but also in the life hereafter. Regards,
