Why is there such a ruckus?   Must a reference to crucifixion in Egypt (or Sodom, for that matter) be soooo controversial?  Let's see:

And their dead bodies [shall lie] in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. (Rev 11:8, KJV)

Serv:

Because they are trying to cast doubt on the Quran as the Word of God. If they can prove that there is a mistake, then it cannot be the Word of God.

Apparently this litmus test is not used on other religious scripts.

It is only with the heart that one can see clearly, what is essential is invisible to the eye. (The Little Prince)

Servie,

And their dead bodies [shall lie] in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. (Rev 11:8, KJV)

I have heard that laughter is the best medicine but is there any medicine to stop the laughter?

And thanks for that belated emoticon.

Mishmish:  Don't you think it's rather hypocritical to allow a thread titled 50,000 errors in the Bible (which is a reference to a cultic article) and then to say this about Christians:

"Serv:

Because they are trying to cast doubt on the Quran as the Word of God. If they can prove that there is a mistake, then it cannot be the Word of God.

Apparently this litmus test is not used on other religious scripts."

OK, Fredi!

I will try to wink less. But please let me wink where I make a very important point.

In your sex4sale offer, I am sorry I forgot to post a reply. Will do that later.

Litmus smitmus.

Christians say the Bible is interpreted twice.  Once when it was written, and once when it is read.

Muslims say the Qu'ran is only interpreted when it is read.

So we can all expect to introduce error.  Or am I wrong about that?
