What was the 'understatement'? You mean my mentioning of that when Europe's unwanted Jews started flooding into Palestine - it was already home to 700,000 Native Arabs - And that the Arab Jewish population of Palestine in 1923 was 5% and they owned only 2.5% of land. |

Dear Daniel, An Indian friend of mine who is a Muslim says that he loves India, but says that he hates 'hindus'. He says that 'hindus' are anti-Semitic. But according to a report published by UNESCO, out of 128 countries where the Jews lived upto 1948, in only one --India-- were they not persecuted. Just see what an Israeli newspaper says, "India's Jewish communities are a source of inspiration for Aliyah activists who admire the fact that the entire community picked up and moved to Israel by choice, rather than as a result of anti-Semitism or persecution, which was virtually non-existent in India."
