And the Messengers and Prophets of God. This would include the Prophet Mohammed and exclude the Trinity and the divinity of Jesus as other than a Prophet. So c'mon Freddie, be a Muslim. You know you want to......

Yes, Fredi "just saw cat stevens or whatever hes called now on the telly - he just said all you have to do is "believe in one God" and then youre a muslim - comments, anyone?" The message of God, through all the prophets, including Jesus, has always been the same, "Your Lord God is only One." Fredi, if you believe that there is Only One God Almighty, you are "musliming" to God. However, there is one thing important. After believing that there is One God, we should not tear God apart. By doing so, the devotion is split. An example: "The Triune God of Trinity" Even God is unable in this case to find out who is the dearest to people. The degrees of loyalties and attachments differ. For example Jesus, "the son" gets more attention than his "father" and gets worshipped more. The "father" does not get so much attention because of "the son". Holy Ghost feels isolated and dumped because no one prays to it or worships it, no one mentions it or talk about it, except on internet boards.

Dear Fredi I quote your statement: just saw cat stevens or whatever hes called now on the telly - he just said all you have to do is "believe in one God" and then youre a muslim - comments, anyone? If you believe in one God then you are a Muslim. Yes I agree with Yusuf Islam's statement above. If you believe that 'Allah(God) is One and Only' you will reject the worship of any creations of Allah(God) such as animals, idols, images, cross, men. You should worship Allah the Creator not the created ones! To accept Allah(God) as One and Only you will reject the Trinity and the divinity of Jesus because Allah(God) says that none is like Allah(God) and Allah (God) is One and Only. If you say that God is a man then he is not God because he is a man! If you say that God is an animal then he is not God because he is an animal! If you say that God is an idol then he is not God because he is an idol! Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace and bless upon them) are Muslims for preaching that Allah(God) is One and Only: Moses said in a Biblical passage known as the "Shema" or the Jewish creed of faith: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord." (Deuteronomy 6:4) It was repeated word-for-word approximately 1500 years later by Jesus when he said: "...The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord." (Mark 12:29) Muhammad came along approximately 600 years later, bringing the same message again: "And your God is One God: There is no God but He, ..." (The Qur'an 2:163) The One true God is a reflection of the unique concept that Islam associates with God. To a Muslim, Allah is the Almighty Creator and Sustainer of the universe, Who is similar to nothing, and nothing is comparable to Him. The Prophet Muhammad was asked by his contemporaries about Allah; the answer came directly from God Himself in the form of a short chapter of the Qur'an, which is considered to be the essence of the unity or the motto of monotheism. This is chapter 112, which reads: In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate. Say (O Muhammad), He is God, the One God, the Everlasting Refuge, who has not begotten, nor has been begotten, and equal to Him is not anyone.

God does not forbid you from showing kindness and dealing justly with those who have not fought you about religion and have not driven you out of your homes. God loves just dealers. (Quran, 60:8)
