   Assalamu Alaikum:
Sexual crimes are heinous acts of violence that should not be used to prove a point in some sort of East vs West mentality. 
To do so is to lessen the seriousness of the crime, and make something that is life shattering and extremely damaging to the victims, into a trite contest. 
I deleted the thread that was started here and I would appreciate it if some sensitivity were shown by not restarting it.
