Is idolatry unpardonable without exception, or is the unpardonableness applicable only to people who are worshipping idols and refuse to repent and acknowledge the truth?

Bismillah irrahman irrahim Hey B.H. Allah swt does not forgive associating partners with Him to a person who dies in that state. But if the person forsakes that and starts worshiping Allah swt alone then our Prophet (saw) has told us that this person is like new born baby and all previous sins get washed off. wassalam |

Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases, and whoever sets up partners with Allah in worship, he has indeed invented a tremendous sin.
( سورة النساء , An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #48) But as for him who repented (from polytheism and sins, etc.), believed (in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messenger Muhammad SAW), and did righteous deeds (in the life of this world), then he will be among those who are successful. ( سورة القصص , Al-Qasas, Chapter #28, Verse #67) And of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil deeds until death faces one of them and he says: "Now I repent;" nor of those who die while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful torment. ( سورة النساء , An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #18) But whosoever repents after his crime and does righteous good deeds (by obeying Allah), then verily, Allah will pardon him (accept his repentance). Verily, Allah is OftForgiving, Most Merciful. ( سورة المائدة , Al-Maeda, Chapter #5, Verse #39) But those who committed evil deeds and then repented afterwards and believed, verily, your Lord after (all) that is indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. ( سورة الأعراف , Al-Araf, Chapter #7, Verse #153) And (remember) the Day when We shall raise up from each nation a witness (their Messenger), then, those who have disbelieved will not be given leave (to put forward excuses), nor will they be allowed (to return to the world) to repent and ask for Allahs Forgiveness (of their sins, etc.). ( سورة النحل , An-Nahl, Chapter #16, Verse #84) Your Lord knows best what is in your inner-selves. If you are righteous, then, verily, He is Ever Most Forgiving to those who turn unto Him again and again in obedience, and in repentance. ( سورة الإسراء , Al-Isra, Chapter #17, Verse #25) Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, for those, Allah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. ( سورة الفرقان , Al-Furqan, Chapter #25, Verse #70) Hope that answers your question. |

Allah is Sufficient as a Walee (Protector) and Allah is Sufficient as a Naseer (Helper).

Assalamu Alaikum,
Before Mecca was ruled by idolators...people worshipped only one God there (the God of Abraham)...and there was this rich man (Forgive me for i forgot his name) who was very generous and was very kind...he would help the poor and all the nicest things...then one time he travelled to india and he saw someone worshipping an idol..he asked the man "what is that?" and he said "that is my God"....and the man liked it so much and he was like "i want one"..so the idolator gave him an idol to return to Mecca...and that became Mecca's FIRST idol... When the Rasool sallahu 'alaiyhi wa sallam peeked into Hell..the companions asked him "what about that man", The Prophet sallahu 'alaiyhi wa sallam said "I saw him walking about in Hellfire dragging his insides around on the floor" so regardless of one person's kindness...idolatry is strictly forbidden by Allah subhana wa ta'la
