   Just curious, what is your take on gelatin? 

I've read some stuff about it being haram and that we are not to eat it at all - granted that it is produced from pigs.

Some have said, "absolutely not, do NOT eat it." Some have said, "it's okay to eat it - things like marshmellows etc."

any opinions?
