Why should someone who is born a Non-Muslim - a born Kafir - be sent to Hell for his/her beliefs when he/she dies as a Non-Muslim ? It makes no sense since we Humans do not have a choice as to what family we are born into ! Indeed one can go much further. Why not ask if God exists in the first place ? Hasn't Evolution demolished the hope of Creationists ? Goodness me ! Do you realise that there really is no scientific evidence for the world of the Unseen ? That perhaps - we are just one planet among many in the Universe - with Life. There is a good chance that there are many other "Earths" out there in space...I guess I find a lot of peace and security in the firm evidence of Science. Faith on the other hand revolves around unquestionable beliefs. Believe and don't ask embarassing questions ! Thats Faith ! But not Science. I guess I shall find out on my deathbed. Till then, I think I shall remain a Sceptical Muslim. Now thats a contradiction !</SPAN><SPAN =gensmall></SPAN> |
Asalam Aalaikum,
Brother Alwi,
You are welcome to express your views and understanding in this forum and we will attempt to present our comments on your views.
You said that you were a firm believer in God (Allah) but now your faith and belief in God has become pretty vulnerable and are not sure whether God exists or not.
Their are some questions that makes a person think about the existance of God but those questions donot help the questioner reach an ultimate conclusion and truth.
The question that you ask yourself that
"If their is God ,then will he judge us according to our deeds or beliefs or both of them" is not qualified and strong enough to put the existance of Al-mighty God (Allah) under question. If you have doubt about God,then you should ask yourself
"who created you" and
"where you came from".If you ask these questions to yourself ,then you will realize that you and other human beings are not the product of chance but infact are the creation and a creation cannot come into existance without a Creator.
As far as your claim is concerned that their is no Scientific evidence that proves the existance of Unseen especially God, I don't agree with it, can you please tell me what is the basis of this claim?I am pretty sure that you are making this claim because of lack of knowledge.
For information about whether non-muslims will enter Paradise or not ,please see the following ref:

In this link you will find answers to your questions about the position of non-muslims after the end of the world. You are absolutely right, people donot have the right to chose the family in which they want to born, it is a game of chance but let me put into your knowledge that whether a person is born in a non-muslim or a muslim family, every human being has by default some degree of capability to judge and distinguish between right and wrong, false and truth. Their is not a single human being on earth that doesnot possess this capability.
I don't think their is anything wrong if any person asks you about your beliefs? The beliefs of other religions should be questioned but in an academic manner not in attacking manner. Some people cross the boundaries of discipline during discussions and debates which is not right. We should discuss our beliefs and Islam doesnot discourage and prohibit muslims and non-muslims from discussing each others beliefs. Islam is an open minded deen which is based on the Divine Commands and Orders of Allah(God).
Islam is not just a religion, it is more then a religion, it is a(deen)complete way of life. It guides people in darkness of ignorance and shows them the light.
I hope this is enough.
Best Regards,
