Boss # 2 makes Mush into obeisance for the interest of which country? Go figure

Condi's phone call behind reversal

DILSHAD AZEEM
ISLAMABAD - President General Pervez Musharraf withdrew the decision of imposing emergency following late night telephone call by US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, The Nation has learnt here.
The decision is reversed after Condoleezza Rice strongly opposed the option of proclamation of emergency and conveyed to Musharraf strong reservations of the United States of America particularly those of Democrats-dominated US Congress, diplomatic sources said.
Condoleezza Rice discussed with General Pervez mainly two issues; his plan to impose emergency in the country on various grounds, and his non-participation in the Afghan Jirga, being held in Afghanistan.
She told Musharraf in categoric terms that there will be tough response on the part of US administration and democratic institutions if he goes for the proclamation of emergency, said the sources privy to the late night telephonic conversation between the two after electronic media aired emergency related reports.
According to sources, the President had signed the proclamation of emergency papers just before he received the call from Condoleezza Rice. Besides the question of emergency, Musharraf and Rice discussed in detail as to why the former did not proceed to Afghanistan to take part in Afghan Jirga and preferred to send Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.

Getting called on the carpet by the K9 boss must have driven him to the bottle  and ruined some of his  birthday party plans!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you visualize Condi yelling at Mush what the expletive you are  doing  sleeping with some Auntie supplied whore instead of kissing their puppet in the dumb expletive and you sent the moron bean counter instead; that is just goddammit not acceptable for the kind of money Uncle Sam is paying you expletive or something like that you fill in the blanks---------
Mush must have repeatedly said; I beg to remain your most humble servant as every answer
What a scene of shamelessness would have been for a so called man who says his skin is general's uniform who only knows how to fry the weak burqa clad women living in a mosque school not talk down some one like Condi!!
What a disgrace to be a Paki these days?

Paa jee, please, be kind. What would you do if all you ever had in your entire life was just a uniform? And, a part time all expenses paid job at the sheer mercy of some Extra Additional Deputy Assistant Secretary of the State department?

well brother thats not true we are proud to be pakistani and onething more Pakistan is not all about bloody mushraff and his chracterless companions. There are too many good people here in Pakistan who wants implementation of islamic SHARIA and want the law of Allah Almighty not of west.onething more brother its very easy to enjoy the fruits of implemented islamic Sharia but difficult to fight for its implementation specially when you are having oppenents like mush, bush and their companions who are even worst than yazeed and abu jehal.we are obviously lucky ppl as we are having oppertunity to fight for implementation of islamic SHARIA and inshAllah we 'll fight for it.InshAllah Islam will be in the fate of Pakistan and we 'll show the world how Islamic Sharia can benefit the society and bro onething more plz dont call Pakistan as paleetistan.i think there are black sheeps in every country or community so u must not associate Pakistan with bloody mushraff.he isnt pakistani he is just slave of america and money($s).Pakistan is the only country which was made for a noble cause ,for the cause of Allah Almighty.take care of this fact atleast n dont call it as pleetistan or others such terms.

Musharraf bashing has reached a crescendo and some of the contributors here are just sounding like immature teenagers venting their frustrations by attributing all the problems of pakistan on the poor man.

The fact remains that there are  strong Anti-Mohajir feelings among some of the writers here and coincidentally?? Gen pervez musharraf is one which is really unfortunate because these kinds of feelings negate and poison the setting for a healthy and constructive dialogue.

The fact remains that post 9/11 the very nature of global politics and strategic alliances has changed.

Gen musharraf came to power at a very delicate and difficult time and has tried his best to pull the country out of the mess created by the bhuttos and nawaz sharifs.

He has survived numerous assassination attempts and attempts by the radical elements to create countless hurdles by trying to poison public opinion against him.

The facts about Pakistan today is that its a country divided among itself without credibility and trust teetering on the brink of being labelled a failed state and desperately in need of a honest,,strong and decisive leadership.

Gen Musharraf is a progressive minded leader who is a genuine patriot and wants to see pakistan on the road to progress but is being repeatedly frustrated in his efforts by all the hypocritical fundamentalist and secretarian elements  within and outside pakistan.

These attempts were conveniently staged with insufficient materials and with a mere BANG effect, as messages, for the White House.

Morshed, all of this is getting a bit boring like that gramophone needle I told you about. Can't we please get some new script from you know where!

I beg to disagree with you .

The sad story of Pakistan  today is due to the following factors.

1.Successive years of corrupt governance by the so called democratically elected leaders like Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif.

2.An hopelessly divided  electorate on the basis of ethnicity and race.(Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashtun (Pathan), Baloch, Muhajir )

3.The ability of the Mullahs to create mass public hysteria  and whip up religious sentiments for political  and narrow minded ends.

4.Low literacy rate of the electorate(50%).

Its totally inaccurate and morally wrong  to project Gen Pervez Musharraf  as the scape goat especially as he is by far one of the more sincere leaders that Pakistan has had in a long long  time.
