Of course not. I just imagined a scenario, Jocko. Please carry on. Make it short, please. BMZ |

I can tell. You sound atheist. Is that right? Edited by JasperStone |

For if we, being enemies, were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, we shall be saved in His life, having been reconciled. (Rom 5:10)

============================ And when do you think God will beget daughters? Surely, Angel deserves to be begotten by God? =================================
The phrase "sons and daughters to Me" can be found in Paul's epistle of Second Corinthians. "And I will be a Father to you, and you will be sons and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty" (2 Cor.6:18) Paul is quoting in combination Hosea 1:10 and Isaiah 43:6. Don't you just want to read the New Testament now for yourself at least once through before you leave this earth? Sons, in the New Testament salvation sense, does not indicate males, in the matter of divine sonship. It refers to having the Holy Spirit as our life from God, Sons refer to sharing the life of God, not to male sex. Edited by Jocko |

there's something going on here that I've noticed. There is Jesus and Christ, two separate entities being distinshinged here, I have noticed that here and in the other thread. And to be honest it is very confusing, one minute we're talking about Jesus Christ and then another it is the Christ, another being/entity. And again to be honest, it puts a 4th person in the scenerio NOT three. It's like there's the Father and the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit and Christ also. The talks that are going is that Jesus has this Christ or experience of Christ (which seems everlasting) in him along with the Holy Spirit who by the way is Christ too. If I wasn't that confused before I am certainly now! People, most people know Jesus Christ as one person. Whenever Christ is mentioned it is normally for Jesus, some people say his full name some his first and some his last (which I doubt that Chrsit is his true last name), that is generally the consenses Not that there is a separate being that is Christ. It just seems to me to be very unnecessary to have the Holy Spirit which flows thru and have another, Christ, that also does the same. Generally when what is mentioned, that Christ is in us usually denotes that Jesus (of course jesus cannot be in us, nor is Jesus God for me) as God is in us, or the holy Spirit flow thru us, which i think is supposedly named Christ I think it is necessary to separate Jesus Christ and the Christ in talks. because i think many people are denoting that both are one person not a separate entity/person.
p.s: both you, Jocko and Jasperstone have not responded to my post on page 21: 28 October 2007 at 5:30am, that took me a few days to put together. Edited by Angel |

Christ means the office or the appointment. The Anointed one is the Christ. It discribes the office, the appointment of the Person. Jesus, the Christ is simply Jesus the Anointed One. Sometimes the Bible speaks of the office of the Anointed One or the Christ in terms of time before the man Jesus was born. I cannot think of any verse speaking of Jesus before the birth of that baby in Bethlehem. God knows our hearts. And He is not confused when we say that we love Jesus Christ, or we love Christ Jesus, or we believe in the Christ, or we worship Jesus the Christ, etc. He knows what we mean. So we should not be too concerned with this. We have in the New Testament these equivilant titles: 1.) "The Spirit of God" (Rom. 8:9) 2.) "The Spirit of Christ" (Rom. 8:9) 3.) "The Spirit of Jesus Christ" (Phil. 1:19) 4.) "The Spirit of Jesus" (Acts 16:7) 5.) "The Spirit of the One Who raised Jesus from the dead" (Rom. 8:11) 6.) And lastly the Spirit designated simply as "Christ". (Rom. 8:10)
There are perhaps about another fifty to seventy descriptions of this Spirit. I will not name them all now. But since He is so bountiful and rich there is the expression "the bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ" (Phil. 1:19). The emphasis there being that He is to supply us, to furnish us, to equip us with all that we need. With all this help no wonder He is a Comforter. Edited by Jocko |

I have a question for you Jocko, in hindu there is a trinity which is pretty much exact to Christianity. the second in the trinty is Krishna which means Christ also. Since hindu has been around for sometime before Christianity what do you say about the trinity there being pretty much exact?
