Today's khutbah was about how Allah (swt) will always help the oppressed.  The imam spoke about the supplication of the oppressed and how Allah is aware of the actions of tyrants and will eventually overthrow them.  He mentioned that there is no "veil" between the supplication of the oppressed and Allah, which means that Allah hears the cries of the oppressed and will send His help to them.
Say: "Truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are (all) for Allah, the Cherisher of the Worlds. (Surat al-Anaam: 162)

Today's khutbah centered around the hadith below:

It is related by Umar Ibn al-Khattab (رضى الله تعالى عنه ) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم ) say:
The actions are but judged according to intentions; and to every man is due what he intended. Thus, whosoever migrates for the sake of Allah (SWT) and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم ) (and there is no other motive of his migration except compliance with the commands of Allah (SWT) and his Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم ) and winning of their good pleasure)...

Not quite.  The Gospels are narratives written by unknown people.  Sahih Bukhari and Muslim are compilations of the accounts of the prophet's companions regarding his teachings.  They are not anonymous and they were well-known among the early Muslims.  But, I suppose you could make the comparison between the weak hadiths and the Gospels.  Weak hadiths are usually classified as such if the chain of narration is broken or unknown, which is the case with the Gospels.

The Gospels were not written until at least 30-35 years after him, so the answer is no.
