Today's khutbah was on the importance of spending in the cause of Allah (swt), as well as seeking forgiveness for our sins on a daily basis, drawing upon the model of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who spent his nights in prayer, even though his sins (which were minor and due to human forgetfulness and not disobedience) were already forgiven.  If he spent so much time doing this, then so should we whose sins are numerous.
Say: "Truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are (all) for Allah, the Cherisher of the Worlds. (Surat al-Anaam: 162)

Salam,

Why you don't record the khutbah and email/upload to IslamiCity. The digital recorder is very cheap this day. Even you can record it via your smart phone. As long as you put your recorder close enough to the khatib the quality will be good enough. To make the file is emailable (not to big) reduce the rate to 48kbps, with this rate for 30 min khutbah is about 10 MB. You can email it to icsupport at Islamic.com. If you prefer to upload please let us know.

Here one of decent digital recorder (very easy to use, and download it to your computer, just work like usb flash drive):

Today's khutbah was about time management.  Many of us waste our precious time with mundane and useless things.  Others become extreme with their time, spending all of their time praying and fasting.  Neither is the Islamic way.  The prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was the best among us and he divided his time between his life and his religious duties, and so should we.  We must not waste our time by neglecting our duties to Allah (swt) and we must also not be extreme by neglecting our families and our worldly duties.
Say: "Truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are (all) for Allah, the Cherisher of the Worlds. (Surat al-Anaam: 162)

Admin, I do have a digital recorder but it doesn't appear that I can connect it to my computer to upload the file.  Until I can figure it out, a verbal summary of the khutbahs will have to suffice.

Khutbah reminded everyone of duty towards one's parents, and especially kindness for our mothers:
[Luqman 31:14] And We ordained upon man concerning his parents; his mother bore him enduring weakness upon weakness, and his suckling is up to two years therefore be thankful to Me and to your parents; finally towards Me is the return.
