The Purpose Of Life

Maybe this is to do with our understanding of what it means to "worship"?

If worship is a spiritual response (to God/Allah) then I do not follow Khalid Yaseen's assertion that "anyone who is analytical or scientific will have much of an argument with that purpose".

So surely, "worship" (however we understand it) is belief-based or experience-based (in the sense of inner knowing) and is thus non-rational or supra-rational/ transcendent? And all the more powerful for being so?

His appeal comes heavily laden with the "thought forms" and belief structure of the Islamic faith - so his appeal may have stronger resonance with a muslim audience as he is appealing to their cultural and religious "sub-conscious"/inner belief structure and values.

But it doesn't resonate to a non-muslim presented in that way.

I sense that I would need to have heard how he said said and to felt the meaning behind the words he spoke

The purpose of life is enjoying it, without harming others in the proces, but instead make others happy as well. Where hardships are to be seen as challenges which makes you learn.
