The date was Oct. 30, 1991 and the venue was madrid, spain. American New World Order diplomacy eventually succeeded in bringing the muslim arabs to their knees. Oh your comment makes sense - but it also remind me an interview on CBC in 2001 after the US occupied Afghanistan. The moderator asked his guest Eric Margolos (a Jew columnist at Toronto Sun): "If Muslim countries tries to unite - would the West allow them to do that in our life time?" "Never, because then they could pose a greater threat to Israel," - replied Eric. Wa Salaam.

Assalamu Alaikum All Brothers and sisters alike! Interesting view point stated sister Rehmat, the only thing is that the US has the current ability to get away with the passing of such laws wether you, me or the whole world has a problem with it. Being the current super power, it has already been made clear that the US has no real respect or regard to any authorities set up in the world that are supposedly in place for the protection of human rights etc like the UN for example. With such a total disregard is it any wonder why such policies are set in place unchallenged? What good would a challenge do other than to voice an opinion that will ultimately fall on deaf ears? This is not yet another attack on the west as some may infer, its a criticism of the US policies when it comes to trivial matters of...oh...just the state of the world! The total and complete disrespect the US has for the UN policies is not the greatest of examples to set for less advanced countries, and if God forbid such countries were to follow in the footsteps of the US, they would have the biggest 'bull dog' on its tail (namely the US). Another example of a sickening hypocrisy. However, instead of us, Muslims, focusing on the west and its, in my opinion, nihilistic policies, we should focus on our Ummah, strengthen it and become the best that we as Muslims can be. Work for our Ummah, help it advance in all areas, such as education, science and technology. Become self suffcicient in all areas. We have the greatest 'weapon' on our sides, Islam. And not only that, Allah (swt) is with us, what more could we possibly need for right guidance? Hope I made some sense! Salam

What is 'stupid' dear? Bush or the law or the US's unpatriotic favouritism toward Zionist state of Israel? |

One of the several Washingtons propaganda myths is its rhetoric of accusation other nations for the Human Rights violations while supporting and protecting the same regimes especially among the Muslim nation-states and Israel. US Department, incidentally, its own criteria of judging others while ignoring its own Human Rights abuses inside the country itself. The icing on the cake is the recent law signed by Bush, which now allows the USSD to discriminate any nation, which doesnt be friendly with Jews. Recently, in a tit-for-tat China has put a mirror in front of Bushs Zionist-administration. |
