What I am trying to point out is that the morality of that Sura falls a little short. Would it not be better if the punishment was extented to cover anyone killing anyone else, instead of the way it is written to only cover a man killing a Believer? I would like to point out that there are no modifiing words to justify a killing. It covers any killing that is not an accident. If a man kills a man (or woman)... his recompense is Hell seems to be better than if a man kills a Believer... his recompense is Hell. I ask you - which is more inclusive?

I, also, think the world would be a better place if the Muslims of the world would, just, follow that Sura,even the way it is written, paritcularly the religious Muslims. There would be far less killing of Muslims by other Muslims and I am including all the "honor killings". What do you think?

Thats why I told you about the "tafsir" or the interpretation. Its a bunch of books which speak about every verse in the Quran with their history. What was going on at that time etc. So this verse could have been revealed at a time when a Muslim killed a Muslim and they didnt know what to do. And Allah knows best. inshAllah the brothers and sisters can help us with this one more.
