Your hero's programme is called 'Cosmos'. Check it out and have a real good laugh. :0

Yes, I've watched both Carl Sagan's original Cosmos from 1980, and the updated version with Neil deGrasse Tyson.  Both were excellent.

But you didn't answer my question.  Where are you getting these weird ideas about water and the flat earth?  Did you find them in the Quran, or did you just make them up yourself?

Greetings Abu Loren,I understand where you're coming from, but astronauts... both Russian and American... have gone out into space and gazed back upon the earth, so it's not a matter of 'photo's'.  It's a matter of eye witness observations. When you look through a telescope, do you ever see anything in space, in God's creation, that is flat?asalaam and blessings to you,CAringheart

"It's all about the money, ain't a damn thing funny" so goes a rap song.

All the space faring nations such as the USA, Russia, China, Japan, India etc have made a pact where they will use 'standard' space terminology. These are all scientists in all these countries siphoning off money from the government with huge yearly budgets that exceed the GDP's of some countries.

Man has not invented a machine to go into 'outer space', I accept that they can go so high but there is a limit. No man made object or vehicle will work in space. All the probes like voyager, Viking etc are fakes. The 'photos' they sent back were produced in a computer sitting in a room in a NASA office.

Our Universe is what we see when we look up. The sky, the clouds, the sun, the moon and the stars etc. There are nothing more than these. Trust your eyes and your instincts NOT NASA. Even the Sun and the Moon are not globes they are circular objects and we can only see one side of it (the shining side).

As a Christian I'm surprised you don't believe in a falt earth as the Bible has described the earth as flat.

Further more, I tend to believe that there is a barrier or a dome sky. This is because of the following verse in the Qur'an.

Sahih International

O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah ].
55:33

Greetings Abu Loren,

Think.  You are not making sense.
You are saying that every person that has ever flown a space mission is a liar... is lying... is making up their experiences.
It's just not logical.

You say 'trust your eyes and your senses'... when you look out across an ocean, do you not see the curve of the earth?
Do you really not understand when you see the sun 'disappear' below the horizon?
Do you not see that both sun and moon move in arc's as they pass through day and night?
Why do you suppose that the sun does not merely rise in one place and go down in one place?  For that matter, why does it not just blink on and off like a lamp?
Trust your senses... yes... trust your senses.

asalaam,
Caringheart

And yet even life-long atheists are generally kind to each other.  How did God teach them?  And why would He have taught them to love and respect each other, without also teaching them to love and respect Him?

Even many animals have been shown to exhibit kindness toward each other.  Did God teach them as well?  Or is it more likely a natural consequence of evolution, that mutual respect and cooperation with members of your own kind is advantageous for the species as a whole?

Greetings Ron,

Yes, and it is the Creator that has built that into us... whether we acknowledge Him or not.  He is there, if we behave in these good ways.

If we do not behave in these good ways, it's because He is missing...
and people who are awakened to seek Him have found Him and changed their lives...
found the missing piece, and found peace.

It's ironic that you would choose to quote from Romans Chapter 1, which is a justification of God's wrath against unbelievers such as myself.  This is your idea of "caring for humanity"?

In Paul's letter to the Romans, he speaks of the wrath that comes against ungodliness... against those who live ungodly lives.
A Father chastises those whom He loves.

11 My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction:

12 For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

You can say that this wisdom comes from man, or you can believe it comes from a higher source.  If it comes from man, then why do all men not have it?

It's not wrath in the sense of a vengeful God... but the wrath that shows displeasure for the purpose of correcting and guiding, because of love.

So if you know these things, it is God that gives you the Wisdom to know them.

If I followed God's example, I would hate all those who don't believe as I believe.

That is not so for those who have heard the Word of Yshwe(known as Jesus)... for those who follow Yshwe love the disbelievers, desiring that through Love they come to know the Lord.  Those who know Yshwe have compassion and empathy for those that do not know the Lord.
God was 'doing a new thing' when He sent Yshwe... when He came as the Son into the world as a fleshly example to all.

Peace and blessings to you,
CAringheart

There is a world wide phenomena called 'The Awakening' where millions of people are being shown the TRUTH. The veil which satan has cast over the past 500 or so years is being lifted.

You can find this Awakening and the explanations of the flat earth which I subscribe to on Youtube. Just search for 'flat earth'.

ALL of it makes perfect sense.

To you.

When I stumbled over this Website for the first time I couldn't believe my eyes, but I thought that there would be only a handful of those mental cases around the globe.
Therefore I estimated the likelyhood that I'd ever "encounter" one of them as being very close to zero.

May be I should look at the fact that it turned out otherwise as a miracle.

The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses (Albert Einstein 1954, in his "Gods Letter")

I hate to break it to you, Mr. Loren, but not everything you read -- or hear, or see, or watch -- on the Internet is true!  Or as Theodore Strugeon might have said, "ninety percent of everything is crap."

You can't believe your eyes because you've been taught that the earth is a globe since you were in kindergarten. You don't have the capacity to challenge that fact or is it a theory?

Actually those Youtube videos pretty much accurately describes the flat earth with evidences. I think they do a much better job than I could ever do.

By the way, do you refute any of the points that they make?
