As Salamu Alaikum
Here's the following answer ; "Surely the gates of Heaven shall not be opened for those who reject Our signs as false and turn away ' from them in arrogance; nor shall they enter Paradise until a camel passes through the eye of a needle. Thus do We reward the guilty ones" . In this ayah it's said that these gates are NOT OPENED for those who are arrogant. Let us look into, who is an arrogant Arrogance is a state in which we are convinced that we have the right to be above others. Justified self-admiration without comparing ourselves to others and feeling superior is not the same thing. And secondly when one denies the signs of Allah, despite knowing that it Truth, he is an arrogant person. They are not any better that the accursed devil, who refused to obey Allah, when He asked all the angels to prostrate to Adam. The devil thought that he was created of fire, while Adam was created of earth, and that fire was superior to earth. He did not know himself and he did not know Adam. Therefore, he was punished and rejected from Allah's Mercy until the end of time. Seven qualities are considered to be the cause of pride: education, knowledge, religious piety, fame and nobility of one's family and descendents, physical attractiveness, physical strength, wealth, achievement, and the number of ones admirers and followers. In reality, none of these qualities need to be the causes of arrogance. On the contrary, they are positive values which every person strives for. The real cause of arrogance is st**idity, and the inability to comprehend what is offered as knowledge. Yet there is no other medicine but knowledge to cure st**idity. The best reminder which i boldly note down and alhamdullilah it helps me a lot is to remind myselves that anything i hold good is all and all from Allah. The moment we get proud and arrogant, remember, it was from Allah and Allah may take it away anytime ! |

I was meaning to say that I liked the answer and the explanation very much. I am sorry to say I did not know the answer. So I do not deserve the privilege of asking the next question. |
