As'Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,
Its very confusing sister Alwardah {About usage of Abu}--- As you said, it may be to differentiate between male and female. We have "Umm Kulthum" RA, too.
Next easy question
Which of the ibadahs in Islam, cannot be excused or undone, even in tough/ difficult situations.
And an other question
Which is the only commanments of ibadah, not revealed over earth ?
Note : Brother Mohammad is back. He's searching this thread.

You did not give the answer to the previous Q , Seeks. . . what is the 2nd act that results in Sawab when looked upon?
As to the latest Question . . .that is easy , since I also dont get to log-in as often as I used to - I'll just give my answer. . . .
The ibadah that cannot be excused no matter what, in whatever situation is Salaat or Prayer. The Prophet was heard to have said that if one cannot pray standing, they should sit, if they cannot sit, they should lie down and pray. It is also not to be missed during the most crucial of times i.e. Jihad. The only exception to this rule are ofcourse Women, whom Allah deals with delicately i.e. only women who are menstruating/post-natal are allowed to miss out on Salaat - but only for that specific period.
The answer to your second Q is also Salaat. It was the only Ibaadah revealed on the Arsh on the occasion of Mairaj. Infact Prophet Muhammad in perhaps a hadith - that I cannot recall . . .is said to have termed a 'blessing' or Gift of Allah. Since we get to replicate Mairaj (contact with Allah) during Salaat - it is as if we are standing before him, and there are no barriers b/w Creator and Creation during Salaat.

As'Salamu Alaikum,
Second act of sawab is glaring at Kabah. All most all the scholars say so. Its especially discussed more during hajj season. But now, when i were searching its hadith. I cud not find. It does n't mean that its wrong, insha Allah, shall try my best to find it.
And yes, both your answers are correct, sis Chryallis. You are making good use of sis Alwardah's absence, every alternate day . Hope Sis, {Salams wife} returns soon

Sis Warda is right . . . its Riba.
On a seperate note, Abu Bakir R.A declared war against those muslims who refused/stopped paying Zakat after Prophet Muhammad's death. Just a random P.O.I :p

As Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
Wheres everyone????????
Since our quiz master is a bit tired up these days and to keep this thread going, I suggest we take turns to ask questions.
Ill start
Name the three Companions (Radhi Allahu Anhum) who were leaders and were martyred in the battle of Mutah?
The first person to respond can ask the next question Insha Allah
Let's work together to keep this thread alive.
