I remain convinced that The Quran has accurately described how the world will end; and the Quranic description is supported by modern science. Our sun will eventually undergo a "supernova" as it approaches its death. It will result in an expansion of the sun's circumference, causing temperatures on earth to soar, literally boiling our oceans and incinerating everything on land. Tremendous geological upheaval will occur before this mass incineration, simply because of the sun's increased electromagnetic activity prior to it going supernova. Scientifically, this event is far off into the future, and only Allah truly knows when the time will come.

God's Prophet Jesus said:-
John 14:6
Jesus said to him: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father (God/Allah) except through me.
John 17:17
Sanctify them by means of the truth; your word (The Bible) is truth.
Psalm 119:160
The substance of your word is truth, And every righteous judicial decision of yours is to time indefinite.
You reject the sayings of Jesus and use somthing he never said was to come, The Qur'an.

Not so when you understand what The Bible really means:-
Genesis 6:13
So God said to Noah, "I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them
and the earth.
Again you totaly neglect or do not understand the context:-
So what was "the earth" God was going to "destroy"?
Here it is:-
Genesis 11:1
Now all the earth* continued to be of one language and of one set of words**.
KJV Gen 11:1 And the wholeH3605 earthH776* wasH1961 of oneH259 language,H8193** and of oneH259 speech.H1697 *Strong's Hebrew Dictionary No. 776 ארץ 'erets eh'-rets From an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large, or partitively a land): - X common, country, earth, field, ground, land, X nations, way, + wilderness, world.
**Footnote Or, "of one vocabulary." **Strong's Hebrew Dictionary No. 1697 דּבר dâbâr daw-bawr' From H1696; a word; by implication a matter (as spoken of) of thing; adverbially a cause: - act, advice, affair, answer, X any such (thing), + because of, book, business, care, case, cause, certain rate, + chronicles, commandment, X commune (-ication), + concern [-ing], + confer, counsel, + dearth, decree, deed, X disease, due, duty, effect, + eloquent, errand, [evil favoured-] ness, + glory, + harm, hurt, + iniquity, + judgment, language, + lying, manner, matter, message, [no] thing, oracle, X ought, X parts, + pertaining, + please, portion, + power, promise, provision, purpose, question, rate, reason, report, request, X (as hast) said, sake, saying, sentence, + sign, + so, some [uncleanness], somewhat to say, + song, speech, X spoken, talk, task, + that, X there done, thing (concerning), thought, + thus, tidings, what [-soever], + wherewith, which, word, work.
So Gen 11:1 in the context of God's mission for Noah etc. "the earth" in reffering to the whole of the human race as they had "one set of words" or "languange" so it is not talking of the planet it is speaking of humans!
Again scritpture taken out of context so as to misquote and mislead!
2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.
So what will be "destroyed"? The ontext reveals; which you again totaly neglect, very unscholerly and shows lake of any depth of true understanding of what Tye Bible realy says!
Here in Ch. 3 Peter draws a paralle with the flood of Noah's day (as above) and says:-
2 Peter 3:5-7
For, according to their wish, this fact escapes their notice, that there were heavens from of old and an earth standing compactly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God; 6 and by those [means] the world of that time suffered destruction when it was deluged with water. 7 But by the same word the heavens and the earth that are now are stored up for fire and are being reserved to the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly men.
Then the planet during the flood was not destroyed, only humans that God considered to be wicked thus, Peter here shows the God will do the same thing again and bring about the "destruction of the ungodly men" NOT THIS PLANET, SO THIS PLANT WILL LAST FOREVER AS ALLAH SAYS. The way you use the Bible confirms to me that you do not even know what you are talking about what it come to The Bible! Edited by robin - 14 February 2009 at 4:44am |
