As'Salamu Alaikum ,
Yes, sister they are martyrs, who wish to return the world. Here is that hadith, which shall explain us in full
Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said, "Nobody who dies and finds good from Allah (in the Hereafter) would wish to come back to this world even if he were given the whole world and whatever is in it, except the martyr who, on seeing the superiority of martyrdom, would like to come back to the world and get killed again (in Allah's Cause)."

I think Bid'at is one. I guess the other to be 'Shirk'. I'm not sure.

Yes! Major sins could all lead us to hell. Shirk/Kufr will definitely. But I guess the answer for Chrys' question could be bid'at and pride. Still not sure.

Hi there . . .
I posted the answer to this last night, apparently some problems. . . cz I cannot see it.
According to a Tirmidhi Hadith, the two things that have the ability to take a muslim to hell are 1.) the tongue 2.) the private parts.
Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Do you know the thing which most commonly brings people into Paradise? It is fear of Allah and good character. Do you know what most commonly brings people into Hell? It is the two hollow things: the mouth and the private parts."�..(Al-Tirmidhi Hadith)
I thought it would be interesting to ask, since most of us wouldnt think that our tongue/speech could be responsible for taking us to hell! Atleast I didnt, until I came across this. The same hadith is narrated many times, with different words . . .
