Black Muslim Hijabi Women in Dubai

   As-Salaamu alaikum,
Are there any black Muslim hijabi women on this listserv living and working in Dubai, UAE? I am a black Muslim hijabi sister who is considering moving from the US to Dubai. I am also an IT professional and a divorced mother with a young daughter.
Would I have to be worried about any of these things in Dubai: anti-black racism, disdain for being divorced, arrogant, condescending people in the workplace?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

	Assalam alykum, I am a black muslim lady from Kenya , i hope its not too late to reply to your post, with the two years in dubai i have not come across any form of discreamination as a Muslim woman on top of it all women get good receptions in Dubai , we dont stand on ques waiting for anything anywhere apart from the fact that everything is expensive thank God there is no any form of discrimination dont be scare to move here its a great country. Allah bareeq fiik.
