Fasting without Seheri

   Hi I wanted to know if i am able to fast without waking up before sunrise to eat. I asked the question on yahoo answers and got back 3 replies telling me i can. I told my mother and she told me not to believe the answers because alot of people go online to decieve you about these things. Can someone confirm that fasting can be done without seheri? If you have evidence from the Quran, it would be appreciated

	Salam, Sahur (eat before down) is sunnah (recommend), but not fard (mandatory). So, yes you can fast without sahur.
