Karma is universal. We sow what we reap. Even science talks about cause and effect. What does Islam say bout this?

Qur'an mentions about this life and the life in hereafter.yes we will get results of our deeds in this life but you also observe that in the human history there were so many people who throughout their life harm others and yet lived a peaceful life themselves and died a silent death, similarly so many good people had to pay for mistakes of other people.this is the truth of this world but the real fruit we will get in the hereafter. As mentioned in Surah An Nisa ch 4 v 40-Allah is never unjust even in the least degree.in this world we might not get the right fruit or if right amount but in the hereafter we will get the right fruit and one cannot deny that in hereafter.Surah Al Mulk ch 67 v 2-Allah has created life and death in order to test you.So this life is an exam for us.

Interesting question. I just stumbled upon this thread and was reminded of some German friends you are Buddhist practitioners (besides being Christians as well). As far as I understood, they think, that Karma isn't about punishment or reward; it's not even about the hereafter or a next life. It's just about the simple fact, that your actions have consequences - also after your death.
E.g.: A person who smiles a lot and talks warmly will "water the good seeds" in their friends and familiy and foster their own ability to smile and talk warmly. So, if we take this simple concept (I hope I got it correctly), there are certainly parallels in Islam, aren't there? |

but the main thing in Qur'an is to strive for heaven in the hereafter,we ourselves see so much of injustice in this world,so many problems, and the right way to deal with it is with patience, for eg if a teacher forgot to send internal marks to university and the student fails because of it leading to loss of a year,in normal circumstances that student will cause harm to teacher, but if he deals with patience, then he will surely please Allah,in Surah Al Asra ch 103 v 1-3-Allah says with the token of time man is in the state if loss except those who have faith,do good deeds, resort people to truth, resort people to patience and perseverance.

I don't agree with this example of patience. Its said that if we see something wrong we correct it with our hands, if not possible then with our tongue, and if even that is not possible we reject is in our heart, and that is least amount of faith. When someone wrongs us and its just us and this person, maybe its okay to have patience, but if the person gets the impression he got away with it and might get even more lax to do it again with someone else, its not good to just have patience. |

The satan disobeyed God and he fell from a high station. His final destination is hellfire, however he has been given respite. He and his commarades are out there telling people to delve into all sorts or wrong actions. Like the satan, even they are given respite - it could be a respite of a whole lifetime or a couple of years. The long and short is that this world is temporary and justice of God is not completed here. The final day is also called the Day of Judgement. Its on this day that God will com@plete His justice for every atom of good and every atom of bad one has done. Thus final realization of ones karma may or may not happen in this ephimeral world during ones mortal life - but it will happen ultimately. Edited by Nausheen - 29 June 2013 at 7:54pm |

You misunderstand hadith
Patient is required in islam Hadith - Sahih Al-Bukhari 8.135, Narrated Abu Huraira, r.a. Allah's Apostle said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one who controls himself while in anger." there is ettiquete of using tongue Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided. hadith that you add is talking about Permitted stuff among muslims Hadith doesn't include non muslim Like drinking wine Wine is number one reason for crimes If he can't change it by hand Or tongue (advice) he can by heart By heart not to like to be like them Instead man end in hospital or be drug addict It is better to help him before he go through Such thing By hand could be hold his hand and take him To good people |
