Is sperm donation halal or Haram? My fiancee want to donates his sperm to get some money to pay his debts.
Peace to all After a long silence due to travels here and there,im back and im hoping that all my bros and sisters in the entire world had a fulfiling ramadhan and a belated happy eid to you all,while not forgeting to pray for our muslim brothers and sisters in various hardships around the world,iraq,guantanamo bay,palestine etc etc.May Allah make theirs a strugle that will be rewarded fully inshaalah. Back to the question regarding sperm donation,from the information i have gathered,the action is outright haram. This is simply because it is zinaa.The mans sperm is going to impregnate somebody whos is not his wife..this is artificial zinaa and it is not allowed. The act of two people coming together intimately often leads to transfer of sperm to the womens body ..the same act has been taken over by transfering the sperms artificially.Now if the sperms are being transfered to the mans wife then it is ok,but undefined donation to somebody who is not ones wife is prohibited. Thats as far as the sperm donation is concerned.If i got it right may Allah be the witness,if not may He be the witness too inshaalah. Peace to all Aus |

And it's zinaa. And you will have lots of childeren and you won't give them any islamic education, you even won't know them! |

Henna dont jump to conclusions! First off if sperm is denoted it is not sexual intercourse if the sperm is denoted from another donor (only if the husband cannot produce adequate sperm ton impreganate the woman). Although there are women who are using the method of invetrofertilization. I think this is a battle of interpretation. Many of you call this zina but there is no evidence here only subjective reasoning. If the husband cannot get his wife pregnant what does he do? His method of choice would be to adopt of course but what if the family does not choose that? There is also another method where (I dont know the medical term for it) where if there is something wrong with the woman's life cycle where she cannot get pregnant by conventional sexual intercourse that the husband actually "donates" his sperm where its injected in the woman (I believe this is invetrofertilization I might be wrong on this one!). Again this is a battle of interpretation folks |

to this. Doesn't it bother you? Think about it, 10 or 15 years from now some lady knocks on your door and tells you she wants YOUR HUSBAND to be a part of her child's life
. It also isn't fair to the child, that ends up growing up with no father.
. Wouldn't it be better to try and borrow the money somehow? Rizq is from Alla ta'la. Try to make plenty of dua. In sha allah, things will get easier for you both.
