I do not believe there has
been any president of the United States who has ever publicly mocked the
leader of another nation. (I have never seen it. I did just recently
watch a program however, where Hitler openly mocked, to a crowd of his
people, the president of the United States.)
I have never, in the circumference of my existence, heard hatred preached towards any other nation or leader... even those nations and leaders that were hateful. (such as Hitler) The minds of the youth where I live, have not been trained to hate. Is there understanding that there are problems and differences in the world.... yes... but have we been taught to hate anyone for those differences, no. I don't believe our leaders have ever taught us to hate. Perhaps 70 years ago people may have voiced death to Germany... but then Germany was aggressively trying to take over the world. Is that what the United States has done with Afghanistan and Iraq? I don't think so. Neither of those countries is answerable to the leader of the United States. The nations which Hitler invaded were made to answer to his leadership, his rulership. Edited by Caringheart - 20 September 2014 at 9:57pm |
