question posed to self....

How do muslims believe that Yshwe(Isa) was conceived...
he was 'breathed into the womb of Mary by allah', correct?

Doesn't this make Him a Son of God, and not of man?
No human male planted his seed to fertilize the egg of Mary... God Himself did this.
Doesn't this make Yshwe the Son of God?  God Himself fertilized the egg of Mary, by the power of His Holy Spirit.

There is only ONE divine being Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala and everything else is His creation including Isa Ibn Maryam (Alayhi Salaam).

It was the angel Jibreel (Alayhi Salaam) who breathed the soul into the womb of Maryam bint Imran. Whenever Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala intends to create a thing all He says is 'be' and it is. This includes ALL human beings we are all alive because of His permission and His mercy.

Isa Ibn Maryam (Alayhi Salaam) was a special creation because he was a sign for the disbelieving people the Children of Israel.

You've been on this forum since 02 March 2012 and you STILL haven't learned anything yet. This is because whatever we say it goes in one ear and out the other.

We muslims believe in this-Allah is one, he is eternal, he is neither born nor give birth, there is nothing like him.Allah describes the similarity of prophet Adam (pbuh) and prophet Jesus (pbuh) by creating both of them from dust.

Greetings NABA,

But Yshwe(Isa) was not 'created from dust'.  He was born of human flesh, through the seed of Mary, and the fertilization of that seed from God through His Holy Spirit, if we believe the scriptures.

'she who was chaste'
'We breathed therein something of Our Spirit'

asalaam,
Caringheart

note:  this confirms for me also, the concept of the Trinity even in the qur'an.

It's an interesting question.  Assuming the scriptural accounts are true, I've always wondered where Jesus got his Y chromosome from.  I read somewhere that "virgin births" are theoretically possible and may have even been observed in the lower animals, but the offspring's DNA would be essentially identical with the mother, give or take a mutation or two, and therefore has to be female.

Given that Jesus was male (and not some intersex anomaly), then God must have provided at least a Y chromosome, and possibly more.  Does that mean that God has DNA?  What a pity we couldn't have got a blood sample to do a DNA analysis.  (Of course the Catholics believe they actually have the blood and body of Christ in the Eucharist, but somehow I doubt that a lab analysis would bear that out. Wink)

This is probably the closest you can get to in human parthenogenesis.

That's why we believe there is nothing like Allah, Allah does what he intends to do,when Allah does it is done irrespective of way, its Allah only knows, we humans with our limited intelligence can't think how Allah does, we just witness Allah does a particular thing.

No we don't.
There is no proof that Jesus was a virgin birth. Nobody has a biological sample from Jesus and Mary to check. The bible was even written by people who have never met them in person.
Many women around the world claim that their baby is a virgin Birth. Given these numbers and the biological facts, it takes a lot of faith (or blindness ?) to believe in this kind of miracle !
