Too quiet for marriage?

   Salam alaykum 

I have had many brothers come ask for my hand, and alhumdullilah I try to stay on the straight path in everything I do, and I guess this is attractive to men. However, I don't let accept anyone because I'm too too shy. I have never to talk about. So instead of accepting a guy for marriage, I pretend I'm not interested because I'm so afraid of everyone thinking I'm boring. 

Nothing comes to mind when I have to socialise. I have very few friends, and I tend to avoid family gatherings because they give me anxiety. 

Does anyone suffer from this. How do they deal with it.

	Almost every girl suffers from this dear. There is no harm in socializing if it doesn't breach modesty. You must have some friends or relatives who you are comfortable with. Try to joint hem in their activities and gatherings. If someone good wants to be your life partner, there no harm. Only make sure if he is a sincere person, and do your research about him.

	Wa Alaykum Asalaam Sis there is nothing wrong with being quiet, in fact many practicing brothers prefer women who are quiet. :) In Shaa Allah in time you will feel the need for a husband and then you will change your mind and will In shaa Allah accept good and practicing brother as your husband. I too was like you when I was young, I hated going out. If I had to suggest anything then I will that it is a blessing that you are a very private person and homely. This will give you the opportunity to read the qur'an and pray. Alhamdulilah.

	Salam. I'm like you too. Earlier I turned down many marriage proposals as I thought I was too shy, na�ve & childish to survive in married life. But as I'm getting older now, I think marriage is necessary for my religion, worldly life and hereafter. So I'd like to advice you to get married to someone who is pious. 	Salam alaykum sis How was your first few months of marriage/ pre-marriage life. You have girls who can hold conversations for 6 hours on the phone. Was it easy for you to hold conversations with him.

	I think you have a kind of social phobia, I had it too in the past but I'm doing really well now in terms of socializing. A psychologist can help you with that. Concerning men, no worries at all, a lot of them are actually attracted by calm, shy women. They find them cute

	I was also shy at first and I discovered that men like it, so it's not a problem. Big gatherings can be also tiring, so it's only understandable that you feel like this. I still share that feeling to a certain extent. How did things go for you? Did you get married?
