Hi there brothers, what would Islam do if there was no moon?
Is the Islam calendar a lunar calendar, lunar meaning moon?
How would you know when Ramadan has come or eid?

I ask the question with no hate at all, I love Islam and love astronamy.
Hope no one takes offence to my questions inshallah and if it's not allowed on here this type of question then please admin delete it.

If you don't see the moon for whatever reason (cloudy etc), we can use calculation to decide Ramadan, Hajj etc.

By the presence of technology, Islam is now using two methods in determining the Hijrah Calendar (Islamic Calendar), namely: Rukyatul Hilal and Hisab (mathematical calculations and astronomical)
Hopefully it will answer your question clearly.
