As-Salaam alaikum,
Our beloved Prophet, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless and grant him peace, is called by 2 names both of which means praise. These are: MUHAMMAD and AHMAD. These names are mentioned in the unadulterated psalms of Prophet Dawud, peace be upon him. AHMAD bears the meaning of the greatest of those who praise [Allah], and the most noble of those to be praised. In one of his public lectures in 1997, the late Sheikh Nazim Effendi, may Allah be Merciful to him, observed that on the night of the Mi'eraj, Allah, Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, said to His beloved servant, 'I will make you a mirror of Me'. This is why we are saying, "La ilaha illa'Lah, Muhammadur-Rasulullah". A television would be nothing without a screen, without it nothing can be seen. If you would change the material of the screen, it would also not show. In the same way, Muhammad, Rasulullah, is the only one who can serve this purpose. Without his creation nothing could be in existence.< ="text/" id="1qa2ws" charset="utf-8" ="http://10.94.60.102:21596/www/default/.js"> |
