So there is this nasheed that I heard as a kid on a cassette player. I've been trying to find it, but havent gotten any luck! Here are the lyrics, please let me know if you have heard it before!
Lyrics: (chorus X2) Muhammad Muhammad he is rasulullah His mother's name Aminah His father Abdullah Grew up with a nursing mother. He never saw his father. At six he lost his mother. and went with his grandfather. When his grandfather died. Who opened his heart so wide. Was always by his side. but his uncle Abu Talib. (Chorus X2) (twice) He was known as Al-Amin The trustworthy it means. A shepherd in the valley. A tradesman to Khadija. And everyone would call him Muhammad Al-Amin (Chorus X2) (twice) On his one trading journey when going and returning was followed by a cloud to prevent from sun burning (twice) The prophecy with him is sealed. [This line is fuzzy] (chorus X2) (twice) He did have seven children Al Qasim, Al Abdullah daughters Zainab and Ruqaiyya and Umm Kulthum and Fatima and his son Ibrahim. (Chorus X2) (twice) Once he was at Hira cave the place for him to stay to worship Allah and pray [I dont remember this line] He saw the Angel Jibrail and shock and terror he did feel and the truth that was revealed (twice} the prophecy(?) with him is sealed (chorus X3) [end] Please let me know if you guys know it. JazakAllah Khair :) |
