   Allah is Al-Hay (the Ever-Living), Al-Qayoom (the Self-Subsisting, the Sustainer of All). "Allah - there is no deity except Him - the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence." (Al-Imran: 2).

"Al-Hayy" (the Ever-Living)

He has a perfect life. He needs no one, and everyone and everything are in need of Him, and everything and everyone is perishable except Him.

"Al-Hay, Al-Qayoom" (the Ever-Living One), (the Self-Subsisting, the Sustainer of All)� He is the Ever-Living and Independent Being, He is the Self-Subsisting, the Sustainer of All, managing people's sustenance and all of their affairs.
