Salutations-a question FROM MEMORY light sweet crude has reached peak production (Hubberts peak oil) but there is copious amounts of SOUR CRUDE (Has impurities like sulpher) sour crude is more expensive to refine but cheaper than invading Iraq!!
Instead of conflict to gain access to light sweet crude why not modify refineries to process sour crude? FROM MEMORY there is large and copious reserves of sour crude. Did they invade Iraq for light sweet crude when they could have modified refineries to process SOUR CRUDE?? Was there a senseless ILLEGAL war that should not have occurred because they didn't modify refineries to process SOUR CRUDE? According to a geologist I know he stated oil is everywhere you tread in Iraq. Did they kill hundreds of thousands of people and spend billions of dollars on an illegal war because they didn't transition from sweet to sour crude??
