I am leaving!

I am leaving this board!  What�s more, I am leaving in a snit!  Unless, that is, everyone works together to express his or her dismay and to convince me to stay to continue to post my scintillating, often brutally satirical posts.

Just joking!  I actually do need to be gone for a while, though.  I shall try to catch up with you all later.  Sorry if I am unable to respond to any outstanding posts (thanks for the thoughtful post on the �Epistle of Barnabas,� Annie).

I�ve enjoyed talking to everyone, without exception.  Take care and may peace, true peace, not some perverse facsimile of, say, the Oslo or even Dayton Accords, prevail upon earth (and all that).

P.S.  As most of my friends and, well, non-friends (if non-friends I have) converge here, in the InterFaith Section, I decided to post my announcement here.  If it needs to be moved, I shall forever overlook the impudence on the part of the moderators and shall forgive them in advance for doing so .
