I am wondering what everybody here thinks about socialism, of the democratic kind, not the authoritarian type(one with a dictator). I don't mean pure communism in where everyone is exactly the same, but I mean, no one is ridiculously rich. Also I have engineered a way to make socialism to work and to make people motivated. Ofcourse freedom of speech, religion, and privacy and all that are allowed. No government liberally owning your home. Voting of course. Paarliament and Judicial branch of course. And an executive branch but preferably not one that has only one supreme president. Perhaps a group of one hundred equally powered people.
If you want to know the way how I could make people motivated under a socialist country, just ask. Also for demand and supply, we can make it so that if time comes to get something in demand 3without supply, just import! Or perhaps it should be brokendown in to several countries that each have a basic specialization in something basic like wheat or cars or computers. If one state has a low supply, just trade. I don't know which thread to put this in so, yeah. Anyway, what do you think? Freedom and equality, both at last! Productivity as well. |

Socialism is a great system, but Americans are too self-centered and greedy to ever accept it.

I agree with you..Americans think they live in world on their own with no other human beings. is so sad, if socialist can make humans progress and accept each other and abide the GOLDEN RULE, then it will be great.until than..not so sure! |

may be...first thing to do is...provide homes for the homeless people, give them food, provide them with opportunity so they can make future for themselves. I feel sorry for these people who sleep on the streets during the winter time. May God help them.
