Can most muslims tolerate atheists?

Maybe your user name should be The Happy Atheists as you seem to be speaking for a group of people.  It is highly annoying when atheists deluge our Islaamic site with their atheistic beliefs when we are not here for that purpose and people are free to develop their own sites for discussion of their happy atheistic principles.

In practice, and I speak only for myself, my atheistic colleagues and neighbors and I get along quite well, as well as I do with the Christians and Muslims and Hindus and Budhists.  Indeed, in practice, the habits that truly annoy me are public drunkeness, lewd behavior, and above all else cruelty in any form.

You are welcome here. All views are respected and we try hard to apply the rules with fairness across the board regardless of faith. Even Muslims get banned here. I hope you find the forum to be a place for learning and exchanging ideas.

I like that Free Thinker name.  It is a nicer label. Thank you, maybe I will change my identity name to go along with that. 

The feeling I get here is so different from the feeling I get when listening to the mass media which I think is terrible.  I really don't understand why so many of my fellow Americans are so fixated on such subjects as terrorism, sex, sports, and goods.  The people on this board seem to have a much healther handle on things.

When the subject of terrorism comes up with my friends, I tell them that there is more danger in their own house and that we are letting our government take advantage of our fears.
