As'Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh Brother Suleyman and God's infinite blessings upon you and your family! I ask you bro if you can post some Turkish paintings of Muslims especially the ones regarding Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.S) of course they blotted the face out as tradition notes but I'm sure you are aware of the Turkish painter who drew paintings of the scenes of early Islam if you know... |

As-salaamu'alaikum brother Israfil, I have come across some persian paintings (might be Turkish) of people riding donkeys with blotted out faces as you pointed. The paintings claim to be depicting scenes of early Islaam, companions and some the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) himself... but somehow they all looked very "persian" to me... the painter must have depicted the early ummah in his own imaginary and very "persian" setting... with high turbans decorated with feathers and gems, long colorful caftans and garments dragging far behind them on the ground... pointed moustaches... peacocks... hookahs and features not quite corresponding to some of the descriptions of the eraly ummah known to us. Very imaginative, but disturbingly distorted, i must say. Perhaps more relevant to Omar Khayyam and his settings...

Aleykum Selam ve Rahmetullahi ve Berakatuh My Dear Brother Israfl, Brother,i also wish blessings upon you and on your family too;insh'Allah...brother,there is also a two squirrel living in my family and i represented your best regards to them and they said" we want nut,we want nut, talk about it"... Brother,i have understood what you request from me;but let me say to you that the most exciting way of feeling the early days of islam is reading syrah...i can suggest Fique Us-Seerah - Muhammed Ghazza as an first step for studying on the life of the last prophet...let me give u a link about the book;trust me that you will be satisfied after u have read it,trust me!...Wa Salaam..
