Prophets are like lighthouses in a storm,
guiding people to peace and salvation. -Yahya Emerick
In todays era, we do not realize the struggle our beloved prophets went through to provide us with this sacred message. The tremendous journeys they embarked upon for us to be Muslims. The immense level of patience that Yusuf (Peace be upon him) demonstrated at such a difficult time. A time when his brothers were so jealous of him, they wanted him dead. This was a time when he, the Prophet of Allah, was being traded off as a slave in Egypt. Then there was Musa (Peace be upon him). The extreme level of perseverance and courage he modeled throughout Pharoahs persecution. The level of determination and willpower that he had was like no other. Then, there came a man from the desert sands of Arabia, a man named Muhammad. The great mercy hedisplayed was truly a unique gift from Allah. At Taif, children threw stones at himuntil his shoes became drenched in blood! In return, what did heshow? Only kindness and mercy. Its time that we all ask ourselves, How thankful am I that I am Muslim today? It is an honor, that we as Muslims, have received this beautiful gift of Islam, through these beautiful Prophets.
