   As-Salaam alaikum,  The Origin of all creation and all beings consists of the spirits of men, and the origin of the spirits of men is the pure Muhammadan Spirit, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam... this some refer to as Nur Muhammad or the Muhammadan Reality. 

Thus the Prophet, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, said : "The first that God Almighty created was my spirit" - or, according to another version, "my light".

Since the Prophet, peace be upon him, was the choice essence of all beings and the fruit of the tree of creation--"were it not for thee, I would not have created the heavens" (Hadith qudsi, see Foruzanfar, Ahadis-e-Masnavi) - - he was also of necessity the origin of all beings.

For creation is like a tree, and the Prophet, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, is the fruit of that tree, and the tree originates in truth from the seed contained within its fruit. Thus, when Allah wished to create existent beings, He first brought forth the light of the Muhammadan Spirit from the effulgence of the light of the Unity of His Essence, in reference to which the Prophet said: "I am of God, and the believers are of me".
