Wa alaikum assalam, it is permissible to make dua for anything that is beneficial for you in this world and hereafter, as long as it is within the boundaries of Islamic teachings and ethics. While making dua, ensure that your intentions are pure and sincere. Your dua should not be driven by selfish desires but should be rooted in genuine concern for the well-being of the individual and yourself. While you can pray for someone to have a change of heart, it's crucial to recognize and respect their free will. Trust in Allah's wisdom and accept His decree, even if it differs from your desires. Remember that Allah's plan unfolds in ways that are beyond our understanding. IF your dua is not answered in the way you hoped, trust that Allah has a greater plan for you, and He knows what is best for your life. Focus on strengthening your relationship with Allah and trust that He will guide you towards what is most beneficial for you.

Wa alaikum assalam, it's natural to have strong feelings for someone and want to be with them, but it's important to remember that we can't control other people's hearts or decisions. Allah knows what is good for us and what isn't, and it's important to trust in His wisdom and plan. You can make dua for her, but it's best to make dua for what is best for both of you. Pray to Allah to guide both of you to what is right and best in His eyes. Ask Him to grant you patience and strength during this time, and to help you find peace and contentment with whatever His decision is. Trust in Allah's plan and have faith that He will guide you to what is best for your future.
