It turns out that one of the most important investors in Coca Cola and who also has a significant stake in Apple is Warren Buffet, an investor who, like many other mega-multi-millionaires, engages in "philanthropic" activity. Among these "philanthropic" initiatives we can find the Susan Thompson Buffet Foundation (named after his dead wife), which is basically dedicated to promoting abortion in the world. Here you can find more information about it: https://www.influencewatch.org/non-p...tt-foundation/ The Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation (STBF) is one of the charitable entities associated with billionaire Berkshire Hathaway investor Warren Buffett, who funds the Foundation. Founded in 1964 as the Buffett Foundation, STBF was later renamed for Warren’s late first wife Susan, whose estate granted the Foundation over $2 billion. [1] STBF is a quiet but massive financial supporter of pro-abortion activities and population control policies. It is reportedly the largest non-governmental funder of “reproductive health and family planning” in the world, including substantial investments in abortion and contraceptives. [5] One estimate found that STBF had given over $1.2 billion to organizations which advocate for pro-abortion policy, perform elective abortions, or helped develop the chemical abortion pill RU-486. As of 2012, STBF had provided nearly $300 million to the controversial abortion clinic network Planned Parenthood and its national headquarters, Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA). [6] |

I get that Buffett’s foundation funding reproductive health and pro-abortion causes can stir up mixed feelings. I think it’s important to recognize that, for him, this is part of his broader philanthropic effort, and he’s used his wealth to support causes he believes in. It’s not surprising since he’s always been about making big impacts with his resources, whether it’s in business or charity. For those who are more conservative or opposed to these views, it might be frustrating to see such huge sums going into these initiatives, but in the end, it’s his personal choice how he wants to channel his money. It’s a reminder that philanthropy often reflects the values of the giver. < ="rounded-lg text-token-text-secondary :bg-token-main-surface-secondary" aria-label="Read aloud" -testid="voice-play-turn--">http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" class="icon-md-heavy"> < ="rounded-lg text-token-text-secondary :bg-token-main-surface-secondary" aria-label="Răspuns adecvat" -testid="good-response-turn--">http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" class="icon-md-heavy"> < ="" id="radix-:r1ap:" aria-haspopup="menu" aria-expanded="false" -state="d" ="cursor-pointer h-30px rounded-md px-1 text-token-text-secondary :bg-token-main-surface-secondary">http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" class="icon-md"> |
