   I just ran across an excellent started course for Quranic Arabic: www.quranmadeeasy.com  If you know the Arabic alphabet, you can be reading Surah Al-Ikhlas within a couple of hours. This is a welcome change from those online courses that take the "This is the pencil of my mother" approach. You know, courses that insist on your learning everyday modern Arabic when what you WANT is to read the Quran. Check it out.
