Alsalam alaykum
I usually perform my ghusl while having a shower, here's what I do: 1. Pour water over my head back and forth and the back of my neck 3 times 2. Pour water over my right shoulder 3 times 3. Pour water over my left shoulder 3 times I also say the niyyat before doing the steps above and after I've cleaned my entire body with soap and water. So is this correct ? |

1) Wash your right hand (3 times)
2) Wash your left hand (3 times) 3) Wash your private parts. 4) Wash your right hand (3 times) 5) Wash your left hand (3 times) 6)Rinse your mouth and nose (3 times) 7) Wash your face (3 times) 8) Rub your head (front to back and then back to front. 9) Rub your ears. 10) Wash your right forearm (3 times) 11) Wash your left forearm (3 times) 12) Wash your left feet (3 times) 13) Wash your right feet (3 times) 14) Pour water over your right part of the body (3 times) 15) Pour water over your left part of the body (3 times) 16) Pour water over your head (3 times) Niyat is important as is after washing "Ashadu anla illaha illallah wa ashadu anna mohammadan abduhu rasoolu, Allahummaj anli mina tawbeena waj muttatahreen". |
