To be a concert to Islam means to embrace the Islamic faith and live according to its teachings. Islam teaches that every person is born in a state of fitrah (natural inclination towards Allah) and embracing Islam is seen as a return to one's innate state of belief. Once a person has declared their faith (declare Shahada), they commit to practicing the Five Pillars of Isalm which include: tawhid, Salah, Zakat, Fasting, and Hajj. Being part of the Muslim community provides support and a sense of belonging. Mosques, study circles, and community events offer opportunities to connect with other Muslims and learn more about the faith. Conversion involves a commitment to continuously improve oneself and strive to live according to Islamic values. This includes being mindful of one's actions, and intentions, and striving to be a good and righteous person.
