Impressive verses

We are informed by traditional narrations that after hearing the Arabic original of these very verses, Umar ibn al-Khattab suddenly made up his mind to become a Muslim although he was thinking of killing Muhammad (peace be upon him) just a few moments ago. I also believe that they are 'just supernatural'...

A translation of the 20th Surah of the Qur'an:

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Giver of Mercy

1. Ta-Ha.

2. We have not sent down the Qur'an to thee to be (an occasion) for thy unhappiness,

3. But only as an admonition to those who fear (acting against Allah),-

4. A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the heavens on high.

5. The Merciful [i.e. Allah] is firmly established on the throne (of authority).

6. To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil.

7. If thou pronounce the word aloud, (it is no matter): for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is yet more hidden.

8. Allah. there is no god but He! To Him belong the most Beautiful Names.
