The Seventh Message: The Heaven of Trust in Allah

الكاتب/ Sheikh Hany Hilmy
23/11/2009

In the name of Allah the Most Beneficent, Most Merciful

And may peace and blessings be upon the prophet, his family, his companions, and the ones that follow his path

My beloved in Allah,

I swear to Allah Who holds my breath in His hands that  I love you in Allah

I Ask Allah to make my love to you a reason for Him loving us;and an intercession for when we meet Him

O Allah with bestow your mercy unto us; and protect us from all worries

O Allah gather us on Your obedience and pleasure
You are the most generous when asked; and the most bountiful when giving

Did
you feel yesterday the breeze of forgiveness?

Did anything change in you? Did you find that Allahs promise is true?

Did the feeling of uneasiness go?

Did  your heart become a bit pure?

Did you feel the pleasure after seeking forgiveness?

Allah the Exalted said: {Seek the forgiveness of your Lord, and turn to Him in repentance, that He may grant you good enjoyment} (Hud:3)

I trust in Allah that he wont forsake us not because  we deserve it. On the contrary, it is for the reason that { He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (god) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins).} (Al Muddathir:56)

I am certain that the situation will change. We must revert to Allah. This will only happen if we are sincere and honest in our demand for Allahs closeness.

This is the capital of the people of faith: He trusts Allah and mistrusts himself

Salama ibn Dinar was asked: O father of Hazem, what is your capital? He said: My trust in Allah the all Mighty .. and my desperation in what people own (Al Helyah 232:3)

Allah -the all Mighty- promised to help us if we help (in the cause of) Allah. He promised to provide us with good livelihood if we believed in Him and made righteous good deeds. Verily, Allah never breaks His Promise.

My trust in You Allah that You will help us when we stumble and accept our repentance

But how can we taste the pleasure of our trust in Him?

First: We must learn about Him.. and build our bond with Him with certainty. Certain about what He has for us more than what we have in our hands.  .

Shaqeeq Ibn Ibraheem said: If you want to test your knowledge about Allah, Look at what Allah has promised you and what people promised you. Which one is your heart more certain about? (Al helyah 64-8)

Do like Al Zubayr in all his affairs, and you will win:

It was narrated in the book (alHelyah 91-90/1) on the authority of Abdullah Ibn el Zubayr that he said:

When it was the Battle of Bassorah( Battle of the Camel, or Battle of Jamal) Al zubayr recommended his commandment and said:  O my son, if you failed in anything, use the help of my lord.  I said: By Allahs name I didnt understand what he wanted until I asked: My father, who is your lord? He said: Allah.

I said: By Allahs name, I never fell in a distress out of my fathers debt without saying O lord of Zubayr clear his debt and it was cleared. Al Zubayr was killed and he did not leave a dinar (Their money currency).

He only left behind two pieces of land in the woods and one house. His debt was for the reason that people used to keep their money with him and he used to refuse taking their money except if they said it was a loan.(i.e. This was to make sure if the money was lost, it would not be a loss of peoples money.

It will be considered as a loan.) I calculated hid debt and I found them two thousand of a thousand (i.e. two million) and I paid it.

Abdullah Ibn el Zubayr used to call every season for four years: Whoever indebts el Zubayr, come forward to pay you his debt. When the four years passed, they started dividing the money left. He had four wives, every one of them took a thousand of a thousand (i.e. one million) and two hundred thousand.

Look at the way you should treat Allah ? Al Zubayr was indebted by two million.. and after four years of his death, each one of his wives inherited a million and two hundred thousand. This is the share of a person trusting Allah.

What will you do?

Who will make a great charity trusting that Allah will give him more?

Are we going to see a sister making her jewelry as a charity for the sake of Allah -the all mighty- to spread the daawa everywhere? She has trust in Allah  when He said: Spend and I will spend on you

Are we going to see a sister who will wear the right Islamic veil like the mothers of righteous believers?
Though people fight it .. she trusts in Allah. He ordered her to wear hijab then He wont forsake her.

Are we going to see those who will increase their routine of night prayers without fearing fatigue? He has trust in Allah. Allah will bless his few hours of sleep and will not forsake him.

Will our state change from now on?

The sign for this change of state is four:
Abu Solyman elDarani said: Whoever trusts in Allah in his provision: His morals will be enhanced.  Forbearance will be a subsequent. He will become generous in spending and will be relieved from Satans scruples in prayers.

Who will dwell in the heaven of trustiness?
Who will compete in good morals?
Who will learn to forbear and repress his anger?
Who will be generous in spending on the poor and needy before the feast?
Who be provided with khusu (Concentration and humbleness) ?

To implement these meanings, here is todays sunnah:

Blowing on the left three times when faced with scruples in prayers:

It was narrated on the authority of Ibn el Alaa that Uthman Ibn aby elAas asked the prophet peace and blessings be upon him- :  "Prophet of Allah Satan is between me and my prayers. He confuses my recitation. The prophet- peace and blessings be upon him- said: <<That is Satan who is called Khanzib. If you felt his scruples, ask refugee in Allah from satan and blow on your  left side three times, wet blows>> He said: and I did that and Allah made him go away.

I advise you to say this duaa to cure yourselves

O Allah move me from the humility of sinning to the pride of obedience
O Allah soften my heart with repentance
O Allah dont make my heart as hard as stone
And whoever seeks a religion other than Islm, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers(3:85)

The 8th Msg: The paradise of "good faith in Allah"

الكاتب/ Shiekh Hany Helmy
24/11/2009

In the Name of Allah, Praise is due to Him, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, and Companions.

To Continue.My fellow Muslims

I ask Allah (may He be Exalted) to render us of those who are dear to Him, and help us to remember, thank, and worship Him the way that pleases Him, He is the Only One Who is able to do this.

My Beloved,

Days are passing so quickly, and we suddenly found ourselves coming to the end of these blessed days. Though, we still have the chance, as we are about to receive the greatest days of these ten, the day of `Arafah (9th of Dhul-Hijjah) and the day of Nahr (10th of Dhul-Hijjah) having all our hearts with the pilgrims while fulfilling their rights. So,  dont forget this Dua`a (supplication)  O Allah! We have been withheld by an excuse so dont prevent us the reward.

O  Allah! Make the hereafter our main concern. Dont render the worldly life our main goal. Make all our goals revolve around achieving Your Contentment. Render us more earnest to You, make us long for Aarfah and pilgrimage, and bestow upon us with going their next year by virtue of Your Grace,  O You the Most Bountiful!.

My beloved,

Let us enter the paradise of Having Good faith in Allah

As it is, by Allah, one of the greatest paradises. Whoever enters this paradise will be quenched from thirst before even the day of Tarwiyah and will be pleased even before the day of `Eid in this eternal happiness; when one knows his Lord , seeks His Love, be bashful from His Generosity, and finds hiself flying in the sky of knowing Allah.

View this quote, write your comment, and describe to me how would you feel regarding it as these two men feel it. Then by Allah perform Sujud (Prostration)  of thankfulness  that we have Allah as our Lord, and that these are His Attributes. While you are prostrating,  weep on what you have committed, ask Allahs Forgiveness, renew your repentance, prolong this Sujud with supplication, talk to Him from you heart, and do that while being bashful and humble.

Listen with your hearts to what Bilal Ibn Sad said in Al-Helya (226/5)

He said: Allah orders to release two men from hellfire, he said: so they get out with their cuffs and chains; and stand before Allahs Hands.

He the Al-Mighty says: how did you find your destiny and fate?

They say: the worst destiny and most evil fate.

He the Al-Mighty says: thats because of what your hands have earned, and I am not to aggrieve any of my slaves. And He orders angles to get them back into hellfire.

One of them walks with his cuffs and chains till he reaches it, but the other keeps looking around (as if hes looking for something)

Thus He the Al-Mighty orders the angles to get them back to him. He says to the one who walked with his cuffs and chains till he reached it, why did you do that and you have already tasted how painful it is. He answers: I have tasted enough from disobeying you that I will never expose myself to it again. ( its over, he understood the lesson, he knows well the consequences of disobeying Allah, so he was frightened to disobey him again, till he threw himself in hellfire, while he knows well what is hell fire. But disobedience is evil, thus he decided not to do that again. Do we understand the lesson from now, to protect ourselves from torture?)

And he told the one who kept looking around, why did you do that?

He said: that was not my thought of you. He the Al-Mighty said: then what was your thought of me? He said: I thought that since you let me out of it, you will never get me back to it. He the Al-mighty said:

I am at your thought of me and he ordered (the angles) to drive them to Jannah (paradise).

Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest), Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa Lillahi Al-Hamd (Praise is due to Allah) , How excellent is our Lord, and How excellent is He, our Deity which we love and fear.

O Allah, always render us of those who have good faith of You, and do not let us to be of those who get deceived by Your Forgiveness without working to acquire it, or those who shall have shallow hopes,  who claim to  seek Jannah, but do no pay for it by giving and spending in Your Cause.

Today, with every act of worship such as Dhikr (remembrance of Allah), recitation of Quran, Sujud, Siyam (Fasting), Qiyam (Night Prayer), maintaining ties of kinship and striving in all that: remember The Paradise of having Good faith in Allah and cure therewith the sense of depression which has disturbed our Iman (Faith) by dint of the advocates of Satan.

My beloved

Remember that wrong not yourselves therein

Remember that this time is the time we can draw nearer to Allah, and He says in Hadith Qudsy (Revelation from Allah in the Prophet's words): Do not stray far from me.

Remember that : these are very precious times so dont just suffice with the least of it, rather seize the opportunity before they expire. Get to catch what you have missed, and have good faith, perhaps Allah would revive us once more, and bestow upon us sound hearts that love and fear Him.

The Sunnah of today:

Making Takbir on hearing good news:

It was narrated on the authority of  Abu Sa`id Al-Khudry that he said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: And I hope that you would be one fourth of the inmates of Jannah (Paradise), so we made Takbir, then he said: one third of the inmates of Jannah, so we made Takbir, then he said: half of  the inmates of Jannah, so we made Takbir  (agreed upon by Al-Bukhary and Muslim).

I think this Sunnah is consistent with the Paradise of (Having Good faith in Allah), so lets pronounce a lot of Takbir constantly in response to the advice of our Prophet (peace be upon him) during these ten days.

Of the Du`a  of the righteous who have (good faith):

O Allah! You give me without asking, then how would you prevent me when I am asking?! O Allah! I ask you to embed your Glory in my heart, and to let me taste the sweetness of Your Love.

Yours, who loves you for the sake of Allah

Hany Helmy

The ninth Message: "The Heaven of knowledge on the day of A'arfa"

الكاتب/ Sheikh Hany Helmy
25/11/2009

In the Name of Allah, Praise is due to Him, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, and Companions.

My beloved, we are receiving the greatest day of the whole year "The day of A'arfa" (the 9th of the Dhul-Hejjah), the day of the greatest liberation. The day of the double forgiveness (As 2 years are forgiven in it). It's the celebration day to those who are faithful. Thus, we ask Allah the Al-Mighty to grant us in this day to glorify, thank, and worship him in the way that pleases him.

I want us to live this day this year in a different manner. I want us to feel the meanings of faith, and to worship Allah by our hearts before our bodies. I have made for you a plan by which you can recognize your God in the day of "A'ARFA" (the day of knowledge). That will be through renewing intentions in all the deeds, and by pondering over the two Surah in which the day of "A'arfa" have been mentioned; they are Surah Al-Brouj and Surah Al-Fajr.

Allah the Al-Mighty said "And by the Witnessing day (i.e. Friday), and by the Witnessed day [i.e. the day of 'Arafat (Hajj) the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah];" so the witnessed day is the day of A'arfa as the prophet (may peace and blessings be upon him) clarified. "And by the even and the odd (of all the creations of Allah)." So the odd day is the day of A'arfa as Ibn Abbas -may Allah be pleased with him- said. This is the heaven of knowing Allah, we make it only for those who seek reward of the "day of A'arfa" So help me with strength. Ask Allah's help and never get weakened.

If we mediated in the two Surah, we will find that both of them started by mentioning the "Light" "By the heaven holding the big stars." And "By the dawn;" as if it's a sign of brightening to whoever understands these meanings and applies them in their lives. And in the two Surah the virtues of these holy days have been mentioned, and their correlation with the "Light". "By the ten nights (i.e. the first ten days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah) , And by the even and the odd (of all the creations of Allah)."  "And by the Promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). And by the Witnessing day (i.e. Friday), and by the Witnessed day [i.e. the day of 'Arafat (Hajj) the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah];" the witnessing day is Friday. Then He the Al-Mighty mentioned the conflict between the just and void "Cursed were the people of the Ditch (in the story of the Boy and the King)." And on the other Surah "Saw you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) not how your Lord dealt with 'Ad (people)" till he said "Verily, your Lord is Ever Watchful (over them)." And this is the first lesson herein:

1- The certainty that leads to sacrifice and obeident as the people of Ditch made, and as the believers have fought with the disbelief through the whole era.You as well have to proof your belief with a deed that consumes your energy. Give a huge amount of money for charity that you never gave out before "By no means shall you attain Al-Birr (piety, righteousness - here it means Allah's Reward, i.e. Paradise), unless you spend (in Allah's Cause) of that which you love; and whatever of good you spend, Allah knows it well.". Nowadays men are afraid to look like the prophet mohammed (May peace and blessings be upon him), and women are afraid to look like his wives. But the truth is: if we have enough certainty we will consume all our energy till He the Al-Mighty gets satisfied. This is from the greatest deeds that will get you nearer to Allah. So who will please me with brave decisions and extraordinary deeds to be closer to Allah on the day of A'arfa.

2- Being humble before the hands of Allah  The Victorious and The Subduer that is derived from His saying the Al-Mighty "And they had no fault except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise!" so if you get to know Allah with the attribute of "The Victorious" you will know your self by the attribute of "humbleness"; and by then you will become low and surrender to your lord's orders.

3- The Continuance of thanking and parsing Allah constantly to achieve even moreand this meaning is derived from " Worthy of all Praise" in His saying " And they had no fault except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise". So remember Allah's blessings, and that you don't deserve to witness the day of A' raft; but He is the most generous what's so ever. So praise and thanks to Allah the Al-Mighty.

4- Moraqba "Watching Allah's sight to you". Don't allow yourself to be negligent nor strayed. Concentrate and be sure that "And Allah is Witness over everything"so worship Allah by feeling that you see him or at least that He sees you. Whenever yourself drags you to distraction, change your status. If you are performing Dhikr get up to pray, if you are praying read Qura'n and so on. Tell yourself "No for Distraction".

5- Having good faith in Allah, and we were in its heaven yesterday we got it from His saying " and then do not turn in repentance (to Allah)," . Although these oppressive people have put the believers into trial by torturing them, Allah wishes that they repent. So O' Allah that is how you look for people who have tortured the believers, then how do you look for those who are longing to meet you?So have good faith in Allahby his well we will be forgiven in the greatest day of Liberation.

6- Believing in Allah, and performing good deeds:And that will be achieved by serving othersand that is derived from His saying " Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success.". These good deeds are seen in Surah Al-Fajr " Nay! But you treat not the orphans with kindness and generosity (i.e. you neither treat them well, nor give them their exact right of inheritance)! And urge not one another on the feeding of Al-Miskin (the poor)!" so I recommend that you perform these good deeds.

7-  fearing from Allah which plants piety in the hearts we learned that from his saying " Verily, (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) the Seizure (punishment) of your Lord is severe and painful.". Thus, on the day of A'arfa whenever you do a good deed fear that Allah doesn't accept it. "And those who give that (their charity) which they give (and also do other good deeds) with their hearts full of fear (whether their alms and charities have been accepted or not), because they are sure to return to their Lord (for reckoning)."

8- Asking Allah's forgiveness "Isteghfar" before and after performing the deeds.Hoping that Allah purifies our hearts and forgives our slackness." Verily, He it is Who begins (punishment) and repeats (punishment in the Hereafter) (or originates the creation of everything, and then repeats it on the Day of Resurrection). And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism),"Allah the Oft-Forgiving forgives the huge sins, so never be depressed or desperate. Let is us start from the beging as if we were born todaywhy not?? Is not Allah the Oft-Forgiving and Full of love??

9- Show love to Allah (the most merciful)

" And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism)" He the Al-Mighty starts with forgiveness and repeats it with people full of sins as long as they ask for his forgiveness as " Truly, Allah loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify themselves "

So show love to Allah by an eye drop, by a supplication that tenders your hard heart, with increasing the amount of Dhikr and Qura'n recitation  As Allah said "Remember me and I will remember you".

10- having strong determinationAs Allah is " Owner of the throne, the Glorious," and because is book is great " Nay! This is a Glorious Qura'n" so whoever seeks honor, pride and glory should pay maximum effort and preserve nil of it to achieve the highest levels on the day of "Liberation".

These are the ten meaning which I recommend you and myself to do. Preserve your sight, hear, and tongues on that day. Dedicate yourself for worshiping on that day, don't turn for anything of life's matters. Turn off you phones, don't use them except in something that will get you closer to Allah. Concentrate so that we don't lose a second of that day (from dawn to sunset) unless in a deed, never the less, heart deeds.O' Allah witness for I have informed them.By Allah, supplicate a lot in this day, and don't forget me from your duaa'.I recommend that you watch the episode of (the new dawn)And listen to the lesson (Born on the day of A'arfah)Read the articles, watch the videos that have been prepared by your sisters and brothers for such day.Live the meaning of knowing Allah on the day of "A'arfah"

Your beloved in Allah

Hany Helmy

And whoever seeks a religion other than Islm, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers(3:85)
