Assalamu Alaikum!

Following is the part of the last sermon of Prophet Muhammad (SAW ).

"All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness, O Allah, that I have conveyed your message to your people".

What do you think about it? I reserve my understanding for the time being.

Peace

Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?

Bi ismillahir rahmanir raheem

assalamu alaikum

The first part is a prophacy of what is going to occur, that this Ummah will pass on the prophets words from generation to generation faithfully and acuratly untill the end of the muslim Ummah, as he states the last of this ummah will hear his words not something else.

The second part is a dua for allah to increase knowledge of those who hear the words of our prophet meaning from generation to generation the Ulama or Scholars will understand more and increase in Ilm and see what previous generations did not see.

Many scholars have said the best generation in front of allah now and on the day of judgment is that of rasul allah becouse of the purity of there hearts and strength of iman, but the most knowledgable will be at the time of the mahdi and saydinah Isa [hs].

Assalamu Alaikum!

Jazak Allah Khair brother Rami for increasing my understanding.

Had we truly followed the saying of Prophet ( SAW ), we would have strengthened the media, the mode of communication so that we could instantly convey the Message of Islam to the entire mankind. While we have been very much ineffective for the last many decades in this field, even non-believers seem to have got the message and today we see their global dominance in that respect.

InshaAllah, one day we would also become a major force in the media so as to effectively convey the message of Islam to the entire mankind as Prophet ( SAW ) had prophesied  and prayed in his last sermon.

Peace
