My dear pauline, many foot travelling monks are smelling your perfume
of iman and brave resolve. When true sages are being questioned to the limits of Yes or No, any answers just adding light to calm lake of your beingness. Another way, will be dead bodies littered the field of what the questioners like to see and confront. Chuang Tzu told them : Ask the butterfly and see how happy are the fishes in the pristine water.

We appreciate your ambivalent inner voices sometimes. You can soar high and free as Master Rumi guide us in his amazing Mathnawi. You are you own bird, your own cage and trap. Dont blame others. Just leave them. No need to debate and bash each other. And the Real Way is varied and sharp. May Heaven bless you to arrive at your gate of wisdom and peace among the turbulent times today.

As recorded by Mencius, if a man/woman is tasked by Heaven for greatness...the test and trials will rain on us in order to purify our inward and make our certainty strong. Then, when thoroughly cleansed thru every bones, sinew, blood, limbs and demeanors, he emerged qualified to guide others.

It is only Time will unravel the destiny ahead for each seeker. Dont rush and raise waves before the South China Sea winds blow toward you window. My Teacher wrote a little profound booklet called The Collaborative Couple based on his lecture at University of Malaya more than 10 years ago, he said: Man will rarely achieve his higher self/project if not recognized and supported by his matching patner. The music opera Fidelio of Beethoven was brilliantly retold for many of us. How true. How simple and how difficult to unwary readers.
Hope one day our path will cross each other.

Abuzuhri said : You are you own bird, your own cage and trap.

Pauline says You are right and I do not trap myself unless I am giving the opportunity to those who wanted to trap me.

Abuzuhri added : Dont blame others. Just leave them. No need to debate and bash each other. And the Real Way is varied and sharp. (YOU MEAN THE TAO WAY OR KUNG FU WAY?)

Pauline replied : Just keeping my adrenaline pumping, it's not a genetic defects, right?

Abuzuhri's kindness and blessing are appreciated when he says May Heaven bless you to arrive at your gate of wisdom and peace among the turbulent times today.

Pauline does not think it will happen because Pauline will make sure she does not fall into a trap set to lure her into the soccer field.

Powerful messages you delivered but be wary that there are people who are smarter than you and me. My message to you is that I am a lone ranger.

I believe that too. If Islam were the Quran and only the Quran, your statement would be true, and I would also be a Muslim.

I am not sure, however, that Islam is only the Quran, and therefore only the teachings of Muhammed. Lots of Muslims hold all kind of other beliefs too, that cannot be explained by the Quran. I am absolutely not interested in adopting those other rather undocumented beliefs.

Bisimillah irrahman irrahim

Assalamu alaykum

You are right there are some muslims who present islam in such a way that even other muslims get scared. Islam should not be judged according to behaviour of muslims, it is to be understood according to its teaching. Which you get primarily from Holy Quran and then from the teachings of Sayyidina Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wassalam.

wassalam

Say: (O Muhammad) If you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your faults, and Allah is Forgiving, MercifuL
