Rev. Dr. Randy Short, American human rights activist and political commentator, was detained and interrogated by the US Border Security Officers for about three and a half hours at John Foster Dulles International Airport on his way back home from Tehran.
"I was detained for about 3.5 hours by the United States Border Security Officers at John Foster Dulles International Airport and this mirrors what was done to my friends Cyrus McGoldrick and Caleb Maupin who bravely dared to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran. I knew I would be detained, and, yet, I hope to see Iran again and again" Dr. Short told Fars News Agency on Saturday. "About 3:55 p.m. Officer Hernandez took my documents at customs gate number 30, and I could see the fiendish delight he had when he saw my visa to visit Iran, as his eyebrows were raised that look odd on his vitiligo pocked skin," Short further added. Randy Short attended Irans International New Horizon Independent Conference held in the capital city of Tehran in late September. A number of senior investigative journalists, authors, filmmakers and renowned political activists took part in the gala. The participants flocked to the three-day event from the UK, the United States, and several countries of Europe. http://english.farsnews.com/newstext.aspx?nn=13930726001394 |

Randy Short is essentially a nut. No one, other than the Iranian news services "Press TV" and the "Fars News Agency", give him any coverage.

Maybe you are a nut! Please, either support your claim with evidence, or just be quiet about it!

Well, OK. But if I am wrong and Randy Short receives extensive coverage in non-Iranian news sources, then it should be easy for you to provide a counter example which proves me wrong.
I just went to the google news site and did a search for "Randy Short". By default, the site searches over 4500 different news sources from the past 30 days. I found: 22 hits - Fars News Agency (Iranian) 13 hits - Press TV (Iranian) 1 hit - Ahlul Bayt News Agence (Iranian) No other English language hits were displayed. Unless you can provide evidence to the contrary, I stand by my claim that it is only Iranian news sources that provide Randy Short with coverage. |

I don't think you understood me!
I was talking about your bigot claim on him; i.e. saying Mr. Randy Short is a nut! And I said, you made the claim that he is a nut! Thus, you have to prove it yourself! If you can't, then you are a racist nut yourself! Secondly, I don't find it suprising the media of a hegemonic power does not cover the stories of the people who oppose them. Just remember the Occupy Wall Street movement! It has been such a great movement! But did the media of the USA regime cover it well? Or did they hide it? Did they cover it just like they covered the so-called green movement in Iran? nope! As you can see, American regime only covers the movements in other countries, so that it prepares the ground for invasions and so-called spreading democracy (it is ironic though, because it was the hellish USA regime which installed Shah-King regime in Iran in the first place; see 1953 coup. And when Iranians made Islamic Revolution in 1979 and became free, the American regime claims to be wanting so-called freedom there. Thus, according to American hegemony, only subserviant-slave installed kings and governments are free! Others are dictatorships!). In any case, the bought media of the American regime and others will not cover the stories of their people who oppose their crimes. But, the media will cover any minor problems in other non-subserviant states. I am sure you got the point. Thanks. Edited by kodoo - 23 October 2014 at 4:30am |

Well, according to the following article from PressTV:
US should be charged with genocide at UN for killing of Blacks Randy Short wants the US to be charged with genocide for killing blacks. Interestingly, Randy Short seems to be unaware that, not only are many high ranking members of the US government black, the President of the United States is himself black. Randy Short is certainly a nut, if he is unaware of the ethnic origin of the US President. |

Obama is black but he is in the WHITE house. So, apparently, Randy Short is criticizing the policy of the American regime towards blacks who the regime can't buy.
And it is interesting you consider his request meaningless, whereas American regime and almost the whole world bring up the so-called jewish holocaust every time, and then put the burden on a nation (i.e. Palestine) which had nothing to do with it, thus try to legalize the illegitimate-rapist state of Israel. But, American regime wouldn't mind this! On the contrary, they would bring up holocaust thingie always in order not that Germans pay for it, but that Palestinians pay for something they didn't do!! And you won't oppose this! Since, it is the Palestinian nation who suffers from this, right? But, you would oppose respected Randy Short, when he wants the criminals pay for what they have been doing to the blacks, and not that other nations pay for it. So, you see, you are the nut, not him. P.s. I will keep saying that to you, till you stop making racist-bigot claims and using insults on any respected person who disagrees with you. Edited by kodoo - 23 October 2014 at 4:30am |
